K: C'est incroyable, autant de neige en une nuit! Le pauvre vélo, il était oublié là-bas et le matin, il était couvert de 20 cms de neige. K: It's a little bit hard to ride the bike in all this snow, but I can still do it. Hey, Mommy, can we build a snowman right here?

Un bonhomme de neige, comme commandé tout à l'heure. One snowman, as requested earlier.

O: Arthur me donne les directions, et j'essaye de viser pour passer entre les deux arbres. O: Hopefully we can pass between the two trees on the way down without hitting either one. Well, I trust Arthur will yell out the correct directions.

K & O: Oui, Mikulás, nous étions très sages toute l'année. Non, Mikulás, on n'exagère pas. Est-ce qu'on peut avoir nos cadeaux maintenant? K & O: Yes, Mikulás, we were nice all year long. No, Mikulás, we're not exaggerating. Can we have our presents now?

K & O: Papa, t'es trop rigolo avec ta bouche orange! K & O: Daddy, you're so funny with your orange mouth!

K: Coucou Héléna, tu sais que moi aussi, j'aurais une petite soeur (ou un petit frère) comme toi bientôt? Eh oui, la famille s'agrandit! K: I'm practicing with Héléna, because soon, there will be a baby brother (or a baby sister) in our house, too.

K & O: Après avoir mangé à Quick avec Maïlys, on a acheté ces sucettes délicieuses au marché de Noël de Grenoble. K & O: After we went to Quick with Maïlys, the Christmas fair in Grenoble was already closing, but we managed to buy these delicious lollipops.

K: Tous les jeudi après l'école, je fais de l'éveil danse. Qui sait, peut-être j'en ferai une carrière? K: Every Thursday after school, I have danse lessons, where we learn rhythm and movements and how to run around in a million ways.

K & O: Alors là, nous sommes dans la télécabine à Courchevel le jour de la coupe du monde féminine de ski alpin. Mais vu que c'est une station immense, nous n'avons pas vu la compétition. K & O: We were in Courchevel for the Women's World Cup Slalom Day, but we never saw the competition. This ski resort is huge, believe us!

O: Je glisse, je glisse! Attention! Je tombe, je tombe! Et je recommence... O: I think I'm getting the hang of these skis, but my parents aren't the most patient teachers.

K: Notre premier cadeau de Noël (à moi et à mon frère) est un Cicciobello authentique que Papa Noël a déposé devant la porte de tata Babi à Rome. K: Our first Christmas present (mine and my brother's) is a real Cicciobello doll that Santa Claus left at aunt Babi's place in Rome.

K & O: Notre cousine Diana nous raconte l'histoire du soir. Cicciobello s'est déjà endormi. K & O: Our cousin Diana is reading us a bedtime story. You can see how tired we are by counting the number of fingers in our mouths. Cicciobello is already sleeping.

K & O: Nous sommes dans le métro de Rome avec Babi nena, Elisa, Marco et Diana. En fait, pourquoi il n'y a pas de métro à Voiron? K & O: We're in the metro with Babi nena, Elisa, Marco, and Diana. In fact, why isn't there a subway in Voiron? That would be fun!

D & K & M & O: Nous ne sommes pas sûr que c'est permis de monter sur la fontaine à la place d'Espagne, mais bon, on peut dire qu'on ne parle pas l'italien. D & K & M & O: We're pretty sure we're breaking some law by climbing on this fountain next to the Spanish steps, but oh, well, if somebody says something, non parliamo l'italiano.

D & K & M & O: Aaaah, il n'y rien de mieux en hiver que de manger la bonne glace italienne dans les rues de Rome. D & K & M & O: Aaaah, there's nothing better in the winter than eating a scrumptious Italian ice-cream on the streets of Rome.

O: Babi nena nous a montré le manège à la place Navona. Saviez-vous que c'est gratuit pour les adultes (si ils sont accompagnés par un enfant)? O: Babi nena wanted to take us on the merry-go-round on the Piazza Navona, so we were nice with her and went. It made her very happy. Did you know it's free for the adults if they are accompagnied by a child?

D & K & O: Aleksandra nous a apporté des cornes de rennes. Vous ne trouvez pas qu'on est très mignons? D & K & O: Aleksandra brought us reindeer horns. Aren't we cute with them?

D & K & O: C'est Noël! Ca y est, c'est arrivé! Papa Noël est passé avec des cadeaux pour nous. D & K & O: It's Christmas Day! It's here! And Santa brought us lots of presents.

O: Oh, non, Babi nena, cette fois-ci, tu as triché! Je n'ai peut-être que trois ans et demi, mais tu ne peux pas me tromper. O: Come on, Babi nena, you ate another one of my pawns? I'm only three and a half years old, you know?

O: J'aime beaucoup Timea et Csilla. Peut-être même que je les aime! Hmmm, hmmm, laquelle me choisira comme copain? O: Both Timea and Csilla like me. Maybe even love me! Hmmm, hmmm, whom should I choose to be my girlfriend?

K & O: Peut-être qu'on devrait pas aller trop loin, papa! Il fait froid et on est juste assis sur les luges. On va jamais se réchauffer comme toi. K & O: Maybe we shouldn't go too far, Daddy! It's cold and all we're doing is sitting on the sled. We'll freeze and cry!

D & K & O: Luges, luges, luges, on adore les luges! D & K & O: Everybody on the sled!

D & O: Gombóc est vraiment fort, il arrive à nous tirer tous les deux. Dommage qu'il ne court jamais tout droit. D & O: Gombóc is really strong, he can pull both of us (almost 50 kg) on the sled. Too bad he doesn't know how to run straight.

R: Dans le grand bazar d'Istanbul, il y a quatre mille boutiques où vous pouvez marchander à volonté. On se sent vraiment comme si on était dans La Vie de Brian. R: At the Grand Bazaar, you can haggle for everything you want or you don't want. They start off with 35 turkish lira, but then lower it to 19 so you (don't) feel cheated.

C & R: Nous avons regardé la prière islamique à la magnifique mosquée Neuve (Yeni Cami). C & R: We watched the Muslim prayer at the beautiful New Mosque (Yeni Cami).

C: Nous allons prendre le bateau pour faire le tour de Bosphore. Derrière moi, vous pouvez voir la mosquée Neuve, ainsi que le bateau-cuisine, où les cuisiniers n'ont pas peur des grandes vagues. C: We're taking the boat to do the Bosphorus Tour. Behind me, you can see the New Mosque and the kitchen ship (where they grill fish no matter how the waves throw them around).

R: Afedersiniz. Iyi günler. Sahlep ne kadar? T: Iki lira. R: Bir sahlep lütfen. T: Buyrun. R: Teşekkür ederim. T: Bir şey değil.

C: Il y a plein de chats et chiens errants partout dans les rues d'Istanbul. On en trouve même devant notre hôtel, en train de se reposer. C: There are lots of stray cats and dogs in Istanbul. Here's one lounging in front of our hotel.
