K: Ouais! C'est ma première lesson du ski avec les Piou Piou. Dans la deuxième heure, j'ai même avancé aux Oursons avec les plus grands qui savent déjà skier et prendre le tire-fesse. K: Yes! This is my first skiing lesson. I did so well in the first part with the Piou Piou that in the second half of the lesson I went with the Oursons group, the big kids who already know how to ski.

K & O: Babi nena et Diana ne sont pas restées très longtemps cette fois-ci, mais nous sommes quand même allés à Autrans pour une journée de ski. K & O: Diana and Babi nena didn't stay long, but we still managed to go skiing at Autrans one foggy Tuesday.

K & O: Les travaux de la rénovation du square Brameret ne sont toujours pas finis. En regardant le côté positif des choses, nous pouvons profiter des engins de chantier un peu plus longtemps. K & O: The Brameret square is still being renovated, but this way, we enjoy the sight of diggers, dump trucks and other construction equipment for a little while longer.

K: Nous jouons chez Eva et Arthur et ... Mais, il est où, Orlando? ... K: We're playing at Eva's and Arthur's place and ... Hey, where's Orlando? ...

O: ... Je suis là! Non, je ne suis pas puni, je suis juste un peu fatigué. O: ... I'm here! Don't worry, I wasn't punished, I'm just a bit tired.

C & K & O: Nous avons mangé dans un wagon de train au restaurant Crocodile, et nous avons adoré, surtout le buffet de desserts. En plus, à la fin du repas, nous avons eu des figurines de crocodile en cadeau. C & K & O: We ate in an actual train wagon in the Crocodile restaurant, and we loved it, especially the dessert buffet. Also, we each got a little crocodile figurine at the end of our meal.

O: Eh, papa, tu dois prendre une photo de maman, pas de moi! ... O: Hey, Daddy, why are you taking a picture of me when you should be taking a picture of Mommy? ...

C: Je sens que bébé commencera a donner des coups de pied ce mois-ci. C'est peut-être parce que je sais si c'est un garçon ou une fille et je veux garder ce secret. C: I feel that this baby will start kicking seriously this month. Maybe it's because I know if it's a girl or a boy and I will not share this information with anyone.

K & O: Helena devient une grande fille! Elle arrive à marcher toute seule si on lui tient la main et Julio lui tient son manteau. K & O: Helena came to visit us and look how she's grown! She's able to walk all by herself when we hold her hands and Julio holds her coat.

K & O: Qui sait, peut-être qu'un de nos ballons arrivera dans un pays lointain? Ou à la Lune? K & O: Maybe one of our balloons will fly all the way to another country. Maybe even until the Moon. Who knows?

K: A Orléans, mamie et papy regardent les activités que je fais à l'école. O: A l'école aussi, il y a des ciseaux, mais pas si rigolos comme ceux-ci. K & O: In Orléans, grandma and grandpa want to know a lot about what we do at school. Counting, drawing, writing, and of course, cutting.

K & O: D'habitude quand on va à Marcilly-en-Gault, les lapins sont déjà trop grands pour caresser ou ils ne sont pas encore nés, mais cette fois-ci, ils sont juste à la bonne taille pour les embêter. K & O: Usually when we go to Marcilly-en-Gault, the rabbits are not yet born or are too big to play with. These ones are just the perfect size for cuddling.

K & O: Dommage que Papy n'a pas encore préparé le mini-tracteur pour cette année, on aurait bien aimé faire un tour. K & O: Too bad Grandpa Marc is not finished preparing the tractor for another year. But we'll come back in the summer.

O: Comme presque tous les garçons, j'adore jouer avec les voitures. Si, en plus, je peux me salir en jouant, c'est top! O: Like most little boys, I love playing with cars. The dirtier the track, the better it is.

K & O: Avec tata Evelyne et tonton Stéphane, on fait attention en traversant la rue à Romorantin. K & O: We're taking a walk in the streets of Romorantin with great-aunt Evelyne and uncle Stéphane.

K & O: Voici nos cousins, Chloë et Hugo. Ils habitent dans une grande maison plein de jouets et dans leur village, un voisin a des chevaux sympas. K & O: These are our cousins, Chloë and Hugo. They live in a big house full of toys, and one of their neighbors has two horses.

K & O: Allez, on fait une course au tracteur. Mamie, tu nous dis quand il faut pédaler. K & O: Maybe grandpa's tractor is not ready yet for this year, but we have our own tractors. Let's race!

O: Mais qui c'est, cet extraterrestre? C'est peut-être tonton Stéphane qui a fini de désherber le jardin. O: Who is this big green man? It must be uncle Stéphane and he must have finished spraying the pesticide in the garden.

O: Zoooooom! J'adore ce tracteur et j'adore pédaler vite! O: Wheeeeee! I love this tractor and I love pedaling fast!

Il y a quelques années, Franck Ardito nous a pris en photo pour une exposition sur les mariages mixtes. Nous voici exposés à Fontaine ce mois-ci. A few years ago, Franck Ardito, a photographer took our pictures for an exhibition on couples of different origins. This month, we're in Fontaine.

K & O: Imaginez! Nos photos ont gagné des prix à la réunion du conseil du quartier. C'est vrai qu'ils étaient jolis. K & O: Guess what? For a drawing competition, we worked hard on our pictures and it paid off. We won first and second place.

K & O: Bienvenue dans la jungle que nous avons créé nous-mêmes un mercredi matin en tirant tous les branches qui nous restaient de Noël dernier... K & O: Welcome to our homemade jungle! All it took was pulling the old Christmas tree branches together on the carpet one Wednesday morning...

K & O: ... Mais papa, t'aurais dû nous dire que nous allions devoir nettoyer toute cette jungle. K & O: ... Daddy, you really should have warned us that we would have to clean up the jungle afterwards.

Un jour, un carton est arrivé contenant un énorme Spot. Sauf que le lendemain on s'est rendu compte que c'était la maman de Spot et qu'elle était enceinte. On a quand même beaucoup de chance pour travailler avec Abrakadabra. One of the advantages of working with Abrakadabra: One day a box came with a huge dog hiding in it. We thought it was Spot, but a day later, we found out that it was Spot's mom and that she was pregnant!

K & O: La déchetterie est fabuleuse et le compactage de cartons est captivant. On devrait venir régulièrement, si ce n'est que pour nettoyer le garage plus souvent. K: I pushed the green button to start the machine that compresses the boxes. O: And I'll push the red button to stop it. But not right now. In a little while. We're not in a hurry.

K & O: C'est le premier pique-nique dans le parc de la ville cette année. Et en plus, deux hélicoptères nous survolent. Quel bonheur! K & O: Our first picnic at the city park this year, and these two helicopters are making a huge racket above us. What bad luck!

O: Shhh, un peu de silence, s'il vous plait! Les poissons d'herbe ont très peur du bruit. O: Come and see all these fish that are swimming in the ocean under our terasse. Hold on, I'll catch one for you.

K: Maman nous a acheté des cahiers d'exercises avec plein d'activités dedans. Il faut colorier, coller, écrire, compter. Je crois que je vais tout finir en une semaine. K: Mommy bought us activity books where we have to count and stick and read and color. I love it so much that I think I'll be done with it within a week.

K & O: Bon, des sourires un peu forcés, mais on est bien content que notre copine Eva est finalement venu jouer chez nous. K & O: After many invitations, Eva finally came to play at our place one afternoon after school. She's very polite and very tricky.

O: Kylie-Anne, tu peux m'apprendre à lire, s'il te plait? K: Oui, viens, Orlando, on va lire Martine. C'est la fin du mois, de toute façon! K: Orlando, would you like me to teach you to read Martine? O: Yes, please, Kylie-Anne. It's the end of the month, anyway!
