L: Me voilà la première fois chez le docteur. J'ai bien grandi, j'ai bien grossi, et je n'ai même pas besoin de vaccins cette fois-ci. Dommage! L: Here I am at the doctor's for the first time in my life. I've grown a lot since my birth, haven't I?

L: Deux belles filles chez moi, et mes parents ne m'ont même pas réveillé! Quelle décéption! L: Can you believe this? Two beautiful girls came to visit me, and no one woke me up! How disappointing!

L: L'un des jeux préférés des parents est le "Comparons nos bébés". Me voici, donc, avec Melissa, la troisième fille de Juliette et Craig. L: One of the parents' favorite games is "Let's compare our babies", so here I am next to Melissa, Juliette and Craig's third daughter.

L: Oh, maman, tu avais raison d'insister sur mon prénom auprès de papa. Moi, j'aurais choisi Lancelot, sans hésitation. L: Oh, Daddy, you were really nice to let Mommy pick my name. As you can see, I would have without a doubt chosen Lancelot.

L: Je fais connaissance avec tonton Bonbon, ah, je veux dire tonton Stéphane. L: Uncle Stéphane, I hear from Kylie-Anne and Orlando that you always have candies at your place. Can you set aside some for me until I'm bigger?

L: Papa s'en va en Serbie pour chercher Kylie-Anne et Orlando, et maman et moi, on lui dit au revoir dans trois jours. L: Daddy's going to Serbia for my two siblings, and Mommy and I are saying goodbye to him on the train station.

K & O: Papa est là! Après deux semaines chez Nagymami et Nagytati, on parle couramment le hongrois et on a presque oublié le français. K & O: Daddy's here, Daddy's here! After two weeks with Nagymami and Nagytati, we speak fluent Hungarian and we forgot how to speak French.

O: Et qu'est-ce qu'on a fait en Serbie, vous vous demandez? Le trampoline, un peu de natation (il n'a pas fait très beau), et des barbecues, comme sur cette photo. O: We'll use the embers of this fire for our next barbecue with friends and family. And what else did we do in Serbia, you ask? The trampoline and a little bit of swimming (since the weather was not that good).

K: Je suis en train de jouer à Twist(er) avec Vladimir, Diana, Marija, and Bane. Devinez qui c'est qui gagne. K: I'm playing Twist(er) with Vladimir, Diana, Marija, and Bane. Guess who's winning?

K & O: Voici une autre famille de trois enfants: nos copains Teodora, Aleks et Daniel. Ils ont déjà completé leur album de Životinjsko carstvo, tandis qu'il nous manque encore beaucoup d'images. K & O: Here's another family with three kids: our friends Teodora, Aleks, and Daniel. They've already finished their Životinjsko carstvo album, while there's still half of the images missing in ours.

K & O: Pour l'instant, papa et maman ne veulent pas nous acheter des gadgets comme ça. Heureusement, Lily nous a montré comment ça marche. K & O: What is this BS, Lily? Oh, it's DS, not BS. What can we say? Our parents shield us from these gadgets, for the time being.

K & O: Nagytati va nous amener à l'aéroport avec la toujours fiable Yugo. C'est rigolo de ne pas devoir mettre la ceinture de sécurité (dans la Yugo, il n'y en a pas en arrière). K & O: Nagytati is taking us to the airport with his Yugo. There are no seatbelts in the back, but don't worry, Nagytati is a good driver.

K & O: Nous sommes très heureux de revoir maman et Ludwig. Trois semaines, c'est juste trop sans eux. K & O: We met Mommy and Ludwig in Paris. She said we grew a lot in the last three weeks, but we think Ludwig grew more than we did.

K & O & L: Nous avons pris le bateau-mouche sur la Seine pour admirer les merveilles de Paris. K & O & L: We enjoyed the ride on the Seine very much. The Eiffel tower, the Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre, ooh la la!

L: Mon arrière-grand-mère fait connaissance avec le plus petit Jakubec. L: My great-grandmother Ginette met me for the first time.

K & O: Nous avons ramené une vingtaine d'épis de maïs de Serbie, dont nous avons mangé la moitié à Orléans et la moitié ici, à la maison. C'est délicieux! K & O: We love corn! We ate a lot in Serbia and we even brought back about twenty cobs in our suitcases. We ate half in Orléans and half at home.

L: Ma soeur m'a donné doudou souris, parce qu'à priori, elle n'en a plus besoin. Mais de temps en temps, il disparait et ne revient pas pendant quelques jours. Mystère! L: Kylie-Anne gave me her doudou, since she doesn't need it anymore. And yet, from time to time, he disappears and I don't see him for a few days. What a mystery!

O: Sans hésitation, s'il y a une chose qui m'a manqué en Serbie, c'était mon circuit de trains. Est-ce que je vous ai déjà dit que je souhaite être un conducteur de train quand je serai grand. O: Undeniably, the thing that I missed the most during my vacation is my train set. Did I tell you that I want to be a railroad engineer when I grow up?

L: C'est mon premier sourire pris en photo. J'ai l'air d'un vrai petit coquin, non? L: This is my first smile caught on camera. They say you use 17 muscles when you smile. But with cheeks such as mine, it feels more like 26.

O: Pour moi, le premier film au cinéma, c'est Cars 2. Je l'ai trouvé un peu long, mais très amusant. K: Moi aussi, quand j'avais quatre ans, je suis allée au cinéma pour la première fois. O: As promised, now that I'm four, I can go to the cinema. The first movie I saw was Cars 2, and I enjoyed it, even if it was a bit too long. K: I liked it a lot, and I understood most of it. It's not really a movie for four-year olds, not even for six-year olds, but it still is a lot of fun.

K & O & L: Raphaël et Déborah sont chez nous pendant quelques jours. On a fait deux randonnées ensemble, dont celle-ci aux gorges de Bruyant... K & O & L: Raphaël and Déborah visited us for a few days. We went hiking to the canyon of the Bruyant river...

K & O: ... Cela fait toujours du bien de découvrir des petits coins de paradis pas loin de chez nous. K & O: ... Where we had a lot of fun climbing on rocks and branches and in the river.

O: Tu sais, petit frère, il y a beaucoup de choses que j'aimerais te montrer. L: Oui, je sais, tu es si grand et sage. L: Hey, big brother, I bet there are a lot of things you can teach me! O: Oh, yes, lots and lots of cool things.

L: Je me détends sur papa. L: Relaxing on Daddy's lap.

K & R & O & L: On adore manger des glaces au lac d'Aiguebelette. Il n'y a rien de mieux après une baignade... K & R & O & L: There's nothing better than eating an ice-cream after a nice swim in the Aiguebelette lake...

K & R & O: ... Et après une longue journée au lac, juste quand on est très fatigués, il n'y a rien de mieux que de sauter dans un château gonflable... K & R & O: ... And after a long day at the lake, when we are really tired, there's nothing better than jumping in an inflatable castle...

L: ... Et moi, est-ce que je peux aller sauter dans le château gonflable, aussi? S'il te plaît? Juste un peu? L: ... Can I go jump in the inflatable castle, too? Can I, please? Just for a little bit?

O: Si, comme moi, vous aimez les trains, je vous conseille Villard Express, un univers miniature avec 25 petits trains qui circulent au milieu de différents paysages. O: If you are like me and you love trains, Villard Express is the place to see. 25 miniature trains run around in the city, in the forest, and in the mountains.

K: Tu sais, petit frère, il y a beaucoup de choses que j'aimerais te montrer. L: Oui, je sais, tu es si grande et sage. L: Hey, big sister, I bet there are a lot of things you can teach me! K: Oh, yes, lots and lots of cool things.

K: Les vacances, c'est les vacances à la mer! ... K: Finally, it's the vacation at the sea we've all been waiting for...

O: ... On rigole bien dans l'eau de mer. O: ... All five of us together and alone for a week at the sea.

K & O: Port Barcarès est dans une région très venteuse, idéale pour les amateurs de cerf- volant. K & O: Port Barcarès is in a very windy region, which is perfect for flying kites.

L: La musique des Tambours du Bronx est un peu forte, mais les feux d'artifices sont magnifiques, papa. L: Daddy, Daddy, look up, there are fireworks up there! The music of Les Tambours du Bronx is a little bit loud, though.

K & O: Port Barcarès a organisé des feux d'artifices, juste pour notre arrivé. K & O: At the port, the city of Barcarès organized a concert and fireworks.

L: Maman voulait comparer Orlando quand il avait mon âge avec moi. Alors, qui est le plus mignon? L: This picture was Mommy's idea, so that you can compare me with Orlando when he was my age.

K & O: C'était pension complète pour nous cette semaine, qui s'est avèré vraiment trop. Ce n'est pas grave, on a mis au congélateur toutes les pizzas qu'on a pas fini. K & O: Three daily meals were provided at this vacation village for us, and it was too much. So we put two pizzas per day in the freezer, for when we get home to Voiron.

K & O: Un moment de calme avant qu'on saute dans la piscine, qu'on crie très fort et qu'on éclabousse tout le monde. K & O: A moment of reflection on our good luck. The weather is nice, the water in the pool refreshing, what more can we ask for?

K & O: Eh-oh, nous n'avons pas de palmiers comme ceux-ci à Voiron. K & O: There are no palm trees in Voiron like these behind us.

K: En outre d'avoir mis des maillots de bain assortis, maman et moi faisons la gymnastique de sable ensemble. K: Not only do we wear matching blue bathing suits with Mommy, but we also dance the same on the sand.

O: J'aimerais bien aller dans un mini-train un jour, maman. Chaque fois, tu me dis que c'est trop cher, mais ça me rendrait tellement heureux. O: I would like to go in a tourist train one day, Mommy. I know you think that it is too expensive, but I would be the happiest boy ever.

Notre gîte au village vacances l'Estanyot de Cap'Vacances, où nous avons passé une belle semaine. Our rental cottage at the Estanyot of Cap'Vacances, where we spent a lovely week.

K & O & L: Capinou est la mascotte de Cap'Vacances, mais aussi notre grand ami. K & O & L: Capinou is the mascot of Cap'Vacances, but he's also our good friend.

R: J'ai un talent caché pour le tir à l'arc et je ne le savais pas. Peut-être qu'il faudra que je joigne un club dès notre retour à Voiron. R: Another sport I'm good at: archery. Maybe I should join a club when I get back to Voiron.

K: Au secours! Une sirène a échoué sur la plage. Hi hi hi! K: Help! A siren, stranded on the beach. No, I'm kidding!

C: Ah, c'est exactement ce qui m'a manqué pendant que j'étais enceinte. Peut-être qu'il faudra que je rejoigne un club dès notre retour à Voiron. C: Ah, this is exactly what I missed when I was pregnant. Maybe I should rejoin a club when I get back to Voiron.

C: Le tube de l'été, c'était Zumba He Zumba Ha, complète avec une choréographie entraînante. La photo est un peu trompeuse; il n'y avait pas que des personnes âgées au village. C: The catchy tune of the summer was Zumba He Zumba Ha, and the animators of the village taught us how to dance to it. (And no, there were not only elderly people in the village, only on this picture.)

K & O: Toute la semaine, il y avait des activités juste pour les enfants. Ici, on regarde Toy Story 3 sur un grand écran. Merci aux animatrices: Chloé, Magdelaine et Noémie! K & O: There were special activities for kids all week long. Here, we're in a makeshift drive-in theatre watching Toy Story 3. Thank you for our animators: Chloé, Magdelaine, and Noémie!

O: Maman a gagné une bouteille de muscat de Rivesaltes en jouant au loto. Et ainsi se termine ce mois-ci, mais la fête continue le mois prochain. O: Mommy won a bottle of muscat de Rivesaltes playing Bingo with the (other) elderly. And with this, we come to the end of the month. But the fun is not over yet; we'll continue next month.
