K & O & L: Papy Marc a sorti son vieux circuit de voiture et nous nous sommes amusés comme des fous pendant une journée. Vous voyez la voiture bleue là devant?
K & O & L: Our grandfather took down an old car track from the attic. It still is excellent and it's crazy how fast they go! You see the blue blur in the front? That's one of the cars. |

O: Papy a acheté un podomètre, un gagdet qui compte le nombre de pas qu'on fait. J'ai fait peut-être 40 tours de la maison et je suis à 1018 pas. Il faut que je continue!
O: Grandpa Marc bought a pedometer, a device that counts the steps we make. I went around the rooms in the house about forty times, and right now, I'm at 1018 steps. I must go on! |

K & O & L: Tonton Stéphane a mis des décorations de Halloween devant sa maison. Le fantôme derrière nous a vraiment faim et il va manger toutes les citrouilles.
K & O & L: Uncle Stéphane decorated his front yard with a Halloween ghost who's really hungry and who is going to eat all those pumpkins in front of him. |

O & L: Le mois dernier, les filles sont parties en Barcelone toutes seules. Ce mois-ci, ce sont les garçons qui partent pendant quelques jours en Serbie.
O & L: Last month, the girls went to Barcelona all by themselves. This month, it's the boys that get to leave to Serbia for a few days. |

O: Allez, on y va, Nagytati nous attend avec le taxi. L: Nooooooooooon! Je veux encore voler! O: Come on, Nagytati is waiting for us with the taxi. L: Nooooooooooooo! I wanted to fly a little bit more. |

O: Vu que maman n'était pas là, j'ai pu finalement avoir une coupe de cheveux choisie par moi. La voici, coupe à la Mickey.
O: Since Mommy was not with us, I could finally choose my own haircut. Here it is, the Mickey Mouse. |

O: Nagymami et Nagytati nous ont préparé des frites. Ils savent que nous adorons ça. L: C'est délicieux, je peux en avoir encore? O & L: Nagymami and Nagytati know what we like to eat. Lots of fries! And can we have some yoghurt with that, please? |

O: Heureusement que notre cousine Diana a laissé ces perles ici. Comme ça, j'ai pu fabriquer plein de sous-bocks de différentes formes et couleurs.
O: Our cousin Diana left the pearls here, so I could make a lot of different-colored and different-shaped coasters. |

O: Il y a un cognassier dans la cour de mes grands-parents. Et les arbres servent à quoi si non à monter sur eux?
O: There is a quince tree in the yard of my grandparents. And what are trees for if not for climbing on them? |

O & L: Ce n'était pas juste la rélaxation à Novi Sad. Nous avons aussi aidé Nagytati à ramasser les feuillez dans la cour.
O & L: It was not all fun and games in Novi Sad. We also had to help Nagytati rake all the leaves in the yard. |

K: ... Et alors? Vous pensez que je n'ai rien fait ici pendant que vous étiez en Serbie? J'ai aidé maman avec les tâches ménagères.
K: ... So what? You think that I did not do anything while you were in Serbia? I helped Mommy with the housework. |

L: Voici Gombóc, le chien fou de mes grands-parents. Il aime aboyer très fort et sauter sur tout le monde.
L: Here's Gombóc, my grandparents' crazy dog. He likes to bark loudly and jump at everybody. |

O & L: Le trampoline a déplacé pour l'hiver chez nos voisins Csilla et Timi. On s'amuse tous avec les petites balles qui sautent quand on saute.
O & L: The trampoline is at Csilla's and Timi's place for the winter. We love making the little balls jump when we jump. |

L: J'adore l'escalade! Je peux monter et descendre cet échelle tout seul, sans aucun aide. O: Oui, mais regarde où je suis, moi! Déjà sur le toit. L: I love climbing! I can climb up and down this ladder without any help. O: Yes, but look where I am! Already on the roof. |

O & L: Bon, encore un bain et on repart pour la France. Les six jours de vacances en Serbie sont passés trop vite.
O & L: Alright, one more bath and it's time to go home. They were sweet but short, these six days in Novi Sad. |

K & O: Nous avons fait de la crème au chocolat avec maman. Soit on n'en a pas fait assez, soit il était trop bon, mais en tout cas, il n'en resté pas pour le lendemain.
K & O: We made chocolate pudding with Mommy. Either it was very tasty or we did not make enough, but Daddy did not get any the following day. |

R: J'ai visité le CERN avec quelques membres de Mensa Rhône-Alpes. Le boulot que les scientifiques font là-bas est véritablement ahurissant...
R: We visited the CERN with some of the other Mensa members. What the scientist are doing there is truly mind-boggling... |

R: ... Je ne vais même pas essayer d'expliquer les subtilités de toutes les machines compliquées de CERN, je vais me contenter simplement d'être là.
R: ... I will not even try to explain the intricacies of the complicated machines at CERN, I am just glad to be there. |

L: Tu peux me prêter ton nouveau ballon de basket, Kylie-Anne? K: Si tu m'attrapes, oui. K: Come on, Ludwig, try to catch me while I'm playing with my new basketball! L: I'll catch you sooner or later, Kylie-Anne, you'll see. |

K & O & L: Papa nous a amené à la fête foraine et nous avons fait des tours de manège, du toboggan géant et nous avons mangé des churros et un barbe-à-papa, bien sûr!
K & O & L: Daddy took us to the fun fair, where we slid down the giant slide, went on a few rides, and ate yummy churros and cotton candy, of course! |

K & O: Avant d'aller au lit, maman nous a laissé lire un peu de l'Ecole Abracadabra, une BD emprunté de la bibliothèque...
K & O: Before going to bed, Mommy let us read a little bit of Ecole Abracadabra, a comic that we borrowed from the library... |

L: ... Bah, quoi? Moi aussi, j'ai le droit de lire avant d'aller au lit, non?
L: ... What? Did you really think only the big kids get to read before going to bed? |

L: Bon, papa, j'ai fini le couloir et la cuisine. Est-ce qu'il faut que je lave le sol dans les chambres, aussi?
L: Alright, Daddy, I finished the hall and the kitchen. Do I need to wash the floor in the rooms, also? |

K & O & L: Nous aimons manger à la cafétéria à Carrefour, parce que cela veut dire qu'on peut jouer avec les voitures...
K & O & L: We like to go eat at the cafeteria in Carrefour, because that means we get to play with the cars... |

K & O & L: ... Et cela veut aussi dire qu'on peut jouer sur l'escalier roulant.
K & O & L: ... And also because we get to ride the escalators. |

K: Nous avons fait deux tours de Kapla avec papa, mais nous n'avons pas réussi à mettre un pont entre les deux. Par contre, papa a mis un coeur sur celle de gauche.
K: We built two Kapla towers with Daddy with the intent to put a bridge between them, but when that didn't work out, Daddy put a heart on the one on the left. |

R: Il n'y a pas quelque chose de plus haut? Je n'arrive plus à accéder au sommet de la tour. L: Qu'est-ce qui se passe si je tire cette tuile au milieu? TRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Ah, c'est ça qui se passe. R: Do we have a taller chair? I cannot reach higher, and this tower wants to touch the ceiling. L: What happens if I pull out this tile in the middle? TRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Oh, that happens! |
