K & O: Tous les mardis cette année, nous avons fait de l'anglais avec Luann. Et pour la fin de l'année, nous avons préparé une pièce de thèâtre... K & O: This school year, we improved our English every Tuesday with Luann. And for the end of the year, we prepared a play with vampires, princesses, ladybirds, ...

K & O: ... Et ici on fête la fin de l'année pour Abrakadabra, avec une autre pièce de thèâtre anglaise et espagnole. K & O: ... And here we're celebrating the end of the year for the Abrakadabra classes, with another play in English and Spanish.

O & L: Papa dit qu'il est trop vieux pour faire le clown, mais nous, nous avons plein d'énergie pour le faire. O & L: Daddy says he's too old to clown around, but fortunately, we're just young enough to do it.

L: Et maintenant, on fête mon anniversaire avec un gâteau-train... L: And now it's time for my locomotive birthday cake! ...

K & O & L: ... Mhmm, oui, mhmm, les figolus sont délicieux, les meringues aussi, le gâteau au chocolat moelleux. Rien à dire, c'est encore un succès! ... K & O & L: ... Hmmm, mhmmm, the figolu is good, the meringue is good, the chocolate part is good. It's a buy! ...

L: Comme cadeau, j'ai eu Max le serveur, un jeu très rigolo. K & O: Max le serveur ou Max le serviteur? K & O: Can we play a bit with your birthday gift, Ludwig? L: Of course, Max the Waiter is a fun game for all of us.

K & O & L: Mamie et papy nous ont acheté des super-ultra-méga-hyper-sucettes! K & O & L: Our grandparents got us some hugigantenormousuper lollipops!

K & L: Quoi de mieux qu’une après midi en famille à la piscine municipale, et surtout dans la pataugeoire? K & L: The city pool organizes a Water Day every year, and this year, we decided to go. It was a good decision!

R & K & O & L: Il y a quelques années, nous avons fait la même randonnée au-dessus du lac d'Aiguebelette. Regardez la différence! R & K & O & L: A few years ago, we hiked to this same spot above the Aiguebelette lake. Check it out!

K & O: Après avoir été se baigner, on adore construire des châteaux de sable. L: Et si vous regardez de plus près, vous verrez maman et moi dans l'eau en train de jouer avec une balle. K & O: After some swimming, we love to build sand castles on the beach. L: And if you look closer, you can see that Mommy and I are playing with a ball in the water.

O: Vous avez vu cet instument musical et ce manège derrière moi? Très steampunk! O: Did you see the musical instrument and the merry-go-round behind me? Very steampunk!

K & O: Chaque fois qu'on fait un long voyage, on découvre des nouveaux aires de jeux sur l'autoroute. K & O: Each time we go on a long trip, we discover new rest areas with interesting playgrounds.

K & O & L: Nous voici à Toulon, en train de donner à manger à un goéland. Ne vous inquiètez pas, ils sont inoffensifs. K & O & L: We're in Toulon feeding a seagull. Don't worry, they don't hurt humans.

R & K & O & L: La mer Méditerranée est immense derrière nous. R & K & O & L: Standing in front of the immensity of the Mediterranean Sea.

O: Je ne veux voir que ma tête qui sort du sable, Kylie-Anne. K: Eh, bah, alors, je pense que j'ai fini. K: There you go, Orlando, I don't think I can put even one more grain of sand on you. O: Well, then, I guess we're finished.

K & O & L: Le quartier du Mourillon est connu pour son fort Saint-Louis et son port-abri. K & O & L: The Mourillon quarter is known for its Saint-Louis fort and harbor.

K & O & L: On a eu beau temps à Toulon, sauf un après-midi, quand la pluie nous est tombée dessus à la plage... K & O & L: For the most part, the weather was nice in Toulon. Except for this one time when it started raining while we were at the beach...

... Mais ce n'est pas grave, on a besoin de la pluie pour avoir un arc-en-ciel. ... But that's OK, you need rain to see beautiful rainbows such as this one.

K & O & L: Cet été, nous avons découvert la meilleure émission télé: Fort Boyard! Comme vous pouvez voir, nous sommes collés à l'écran. K & O & L: This summer, we discovered the best show in the world: Fort Boyard! As you can see, our attention is unwavering.

K & O & L: Nous n'avons jamais encore pris un grand bâteau comme celui-ci. Destination: surprise! K & O & L: We've never been on a big boat such as this one. What an adventure!

L: Ceci est mon jetski! Non, non, pas une planche de surf, pour moi, c'est un jetski. L: Check out my jetski! No, no, not a surfboard, for me, this is a jetski.

C & L: Non seulement l'eau est très claire à Port-Cros, mais il y a aussi toutes sortes de poisson. Vous voyez celui devant nous? C & L: Not only is the sea transparent in Port-Cros, but it is also full of all kinds of fish. Do you see this one in front of us?

K & O: C'est une demi-heure de marche pour rentrer au port. Heureusement que nous avons gardé de l'énergie pour le voyage retour après un après-midi à la plage. L: Sauf moi. Je suis crevé et je fais une sieste sur le dos de maman. K & O: The beach is a half-an-hour walk from the harbor, but even after having swam for a few hours, we have enough energy to walk back. L: Except for me; I have to take a nap on Mommy's back.

K & O & L: Au voyage de retour, la mer était assez tourmentée, donc nous sommes soulagés d'être arrivés à la terre ferme. K & O & L: On the way back, the sea was tumultuous, so we're happy to have arrived to the mainland.

K & O & L: On mange dans un restaurant à Hyères, en attendant le feu d'artifice à la fin de la soirée. K & O & L: We're eating at a restaurant in Hyères, waiting for the fireworks later that night.

K & O & L: Nous sommes comme papa; nous aimons bien lire des bandes dessinnées. K & O & L: We're like Daddy; we love reading comic books.

R: Qu'est-ce qui s'est passé? J'ai fermé mes yeux pendant quelques minutes et j'ai disparu sous le sable. R: What happened? I closed my eyes for a few minutes and disappeared under the sand!

O: C'est moi qui suis resté le plus longtemps dans l'eau ces trois derniers jours. Même si la mer était loin d'être chaude, rien ne pouvait m'empêcher d'y rentrer. O: I think it's safe to say that I was in the water the most during these three days. Even if the water was chilly, nothing could not keep me out of it.

K & O: De retour à Voiron, nous regardons les traditionnels feux d'artifice du 14 juillet, qui ont commencé un peu plus tard que prévu à cause d'un... incendie. K & O: Back in Voiron, we went to see the traditional Bastille Day fireworks, but they were delayed because of a fire on the castle roof.

K & O: C'est affiché qu'on ne devrait pas rouler à plus de 90 km/h, mais nous sommes arrêtés depuis un bon moment sur l'autoroute... K & O: It's written that we shouldn't go faster than 90 km/h, but we can't even go 9 km/h on this highway...

K & O: ... Et voici les pompiers qui arrivent. Apparemment, il y a un feu (ou au moins un peu de fumée) dans un tunnel et tout est bloqué. K & O: ... However, here are the firemen and they will take care of the fire (or at least the smoke) in the tunnel in front of us.

K & O: Merci, papa, de nous avoir emmené à Thiers. Maintenant, nous partons pendant deux semaines chez mamie et papy... K & O: Thank you, Daddy, for dropping us off at Thiers. Now, we go for two weeks to Orléans with our grandparents...

L: ... Et ça veut dire que j'ai toute la place pour moi tout seul!... L: ... And that means I have the place for myself!...

L: ... Eh, oui, je peux finalement faire tout ce que je veux et il n'y a personne pour me contrarier (sauf maman et papa). L: ... Yes, finally I can do what I want and no one to object (except Mommy and Daddy).

Nous avons regardé le Capharnaüm Caravane, un thèâtre de rue burlesque avec des chansons de l'Europe de l'Est. Ils sont excellents! "Ruslan, il y a public!" We watched the Capharnaüm Caravane, a street performance with lots of juggling, Eastern European arguing and songs. It was excellent! "Yane, Yane Sandanski!"

L: La boxe avec maman, c'est trop rigolo. Elle frappe, je tape, elle tape, je frappe, et après on recommence. L: Boxing with Mommy is so much fun! I punch the punching bag, she punches it, then I punch it, then she punches it again, etc.

K: Maman et moi, nous avons passé quelques jours magnifiques à Paris chez Déborah et Raphaël... K: Together with Mommy, I spent a few great days in Paris with Déborah and Raphaël...

K: ... Nous avons visité, bien sûr, la tour Eiffel, la perle de Paris et de la France. K: ... One of the highlights was, of course, seeing the Eiffel Tower. Oh là là!

R: Et qu'est-ce que je peux bien faire pendant une semaine, tout seul à la maison? Je sais, je vais finir le puzzle. R: And what can I do during one week that I'm home alone? I know, I'll finish the puzzle I started a few weeks ago.

K & O & L: Nous sommes de retour, heureux de retrouver les aires de jeux de Voiron... K & O & L: We're back! And so are our crazy antics!...

K & O & L: ... Où nous pouvons dépenser toute notre énergie débordante. K & O & L: ... Fortunately, there are plenty of playgrounds in Voiron to fulfill our climbing and sliding needs.
