L: J'ai entendu dire que la peau du concombre est bonne pour notre peau. Mais là, j'ai peut-être exagéré un peu. L: Guess what we ate tonight for the first course? Yes, that's right, cucumbers.

K: C'est une de mes trois sorties ski cette année. Maman montre à mon groupe comment s'amuser en faisant le ski de fond. K: Our class went cross-country skiing at Col de Porte, and Mommy was there to guide us.

K & O & L: On aime bien le concept des voitures éléctriques, comme celle-ci derrière nous à Grenoble, pas loin du collège internationale. K & O & L: We like the concept of electric cars. Here's a nice blue one behind us in Grenoble, not far from the international secondary school.

K & O: Aujourd'hui, il y avait trop de vent à Villard de Lans pour skier, mais ça veut juste dire qu'on peut faire la luge... K & O: Today, there is too much wind to ski at Villard-de-Lans, but that only means that we get to sledge a lot...

K & O & L: ... Merci, Estelle et Marie, de nous avoir invité pendant vos vacances! K & O & L: ... Thank you, Estelle and Marie, for inviting us during your vacation!

L: Je suis content parce que mes pieds étaient très mouillés et froids tout à l'heure, mais maintenant, j'ai les gants de mon papa pour les réchauffer. Oui, oui, mes pieds en gants! Coucou, maman! L: I'm smiling because I'm wearing gloves... on my feet! My boots got all wet because of the snow, and Daddy was nice enough to protect my feet with his gloves. Hi there, Mommy!

K & M & O & L: On fait les fous à l'aire de jeux à Villard de Lans... K & M & O & L: We are fooling around a little bit at a playground in Villard de Lans...

K & M & O & L: ... Et on continue à faire les fous dans ce cadre magnifique. K & M & O & L: ... And we are fooling around a little bit more in this beautiful setting.

C & K & R & O & L: Nous sommes la super-famille SuperJakubec, habillés pour le carnaval traditionnel à l'association franco-hongroise. C & K & R & O & L: We are the SuperJakubec superhero family, dressed up for the traditional carnival at the French-Hungarian association.

O: Comme la classe de ma soeur, notre classe est aussi allé apprendre et améliorer leur technique de ski de fond. O: Just like my sister's class, ours went learning and improving their cross-country skiing skills, as well.

L: Encore un carnaval, cette fois-ci organisé par l'APE de mon école! Et je m'éclate super bien! L: Another carnival, this time organized at my school. And we get to dance and jump around and eat pancakes! Fun!

K & O & L: Cette fois-ci, c'est Marie qui va dormir chez nous une nuit, en route vers sa maison... K & O & L: This time, it's Marie who is staying at our place for a night, on the way back to her place...

L: ... Et regardez, on joue au billiard. On ne suit peut-être pas toutes les règles, mais cela importe peu. L: ... And look, we're playing pool. We might not follow all the rules, but that doesn't matter much.

K & R & O: Cette pierre avec l'ange est l'un des détails qu'on devait trouver à Poble Espanyol durant le chasse au trésor. K & R & O: The rock with the angel is one of the sights we had to find during our scavenger hunt at the Poble Espanyol.

C & R: Au centre de l'île de Tenerife (et derrière nous), le volcan Teide, qui, avec ses 3718 mètres, est le plus haut sommet de l'Espagne. C & R: In the middle of the Tenerife island (and behind us), the vulcano Teide, with its 3718 meters, is the highest point in Spain.

K & R & O & L: A Icod, nous avons vu un arbre qui a (à priori) 1000 ans, le Drago Milenario. K & R & O & L: In Icod de los Vinos, you can find the Drago Milenario, a (supposedly) 1000-year-old tree.

C & K & R & O & L: L'incontournable à Tenerife, c'est Loro Parque, un parc avec des toutes différents sortes de perroquets et d'autres animaux. C & K & R & O & L: A "must-see" in Tenerife is the Loro Parque, an exceptional animal park filled with parrots and other animals.

O: Pendant un spectacle, j'ai pu toucher et faire un bisou à une otarie. Mais après elle a crié et elle m'a fait peur un peu. O: During a show, I got to touch and kiss (and get scared by) a sea lion!

Sautez, les dauphins, sautez! Merci pour vos acrobaties! Jump, dolphins, jump! Thank you for your acrobatics!

K & O: Super, le spectacle avec les orques! Mais attendez, qu'est-ce que ça veut dire? "Zone d'éclaboussure", hmmmmm... K & O: Wow, orca whales! But wait, what does this mean? "Splash Zone", hmmmmm...

K & R & O: ... Aaaaaaah, on est tout mouillés! D'accord, ça suffit, on a bien compris ce que ça veut dire, "zone d'éclaboussure". K & R & O: ... Aaaaaaah, we're all wet! Alright, alright, "Splash Zone", stop, we get it!

K & O & L: Nous n'avons jamais vu une grue royale de si près. En fait, nous n'avons jamais vu une grue royale! K & O & L: We've never seen a grey crowned crane from so close. We can just reach out and touch it. Or it could bite us.

C & K & O & L: Tout à l'heure, pendant le spectacle, des perroquets colorés ont volé partout dans la salle. C & K & O & L: A few minutes ago, during the show, many colorful parrots flew around above our heads.

C & K & O & L: Au revoir, Loro Parque, c'était une journée magnifique. Maintenant, on va prendre le train et partir. C & K & O & L: Goodbye, Loro Parque, that was a lot of fun! Now let's take the train to downtown Puerto de la Cruz.

C & K: Deuxième étape, deuxième appart à Tenerife, avec une vue panoramique sur les falaises de Los Gigantes. C & K: Second stop, second apartment in Tenerife, one with a panoramic view of the ocean and the Los Gigantes cliffs.

R & K & O & L: Montre-nous le chemin, oh, vieux phare sage, montre-nous où aller! R & K & O & L: Point us the right way, Lighthouse, point us where we need to go!

K & O & L: Sur certaines plages de l'île, le sable est noir! Merci, Pico del Teide! K & O & L: Thanks to Pico del Teide, on some of the beaches of the island the sand is black!

K & O & L: Excellent, ces vagues énormes! Dommage qu'il ne fait pas assez chaud pour se baigner. K & O & L: These huge waves are superb! Too bad it's kind of cold to go in the water.

O: Au cirque, vous pouvez voir les dompteurs mettre leurs têtes dans les mâchoires des félins. Mais est-ce que vous avez déjà vu quelqu'un mettre sa tête dans la mâchoire d'un crocodile? O: In a circus, you may see animal trainers put their head in a lion's jaw. But have you ever seen anyone put their head in a crocodile's jaw? Well, now you have!

K & R & O: Excellent, ces vagues énormes! Tant pis s'il ne fait pas assez chaud pour se baigner. K & R & O: These huge waves are superb! Who cares if it's kind of cold to go in the water?

K & O: Arrête, papa! Si on continue, on ne trouvera plus notre frère. L: Vous rigolez? J'ai une bonne voix, moi, je crierai tant que quelqu'un ne me sorte pas d'ici. L: A little bit more sand, Daddy! You can still see my head sticking out. K & O: Don't worry, Ludwig! We'll dig you out if you cannot climb out by yourself.

C & R: L'océan, les palmiers, le sable et le soleil! Il n'y a presque rien qui manque dans notre vie! C & R: The ocean, palm trees, sand, and sun! There's almost nothing missing in our life!

O: Voilà Peter Pan, la goélette (voilier) qui nous amènera voir des dauphins et des baleines... O: There's Peter Pan, the schooner (sailing ship) that will take us dolphin- and whalewatching...

... Et voici une des baleines pilote que nous avons vu. Désolé pour la prise de vue, le bâteau bougeait beaucoup... ... And here's one of the pilot whales that we saw. Sorry about the shooting angle, the ship was swaying dangerously...

K & R & O & L: Santa Cruz de Tenerife! Nous voici dans la capitale de l'île, devant le marché où on vend des produits typiques d'ici... K & R & O & L: Santa Cruz de Tenerife! Here we are at the capital of the island, in front of the market where you can find all the local products...

... Voici un assortiment de fruits dont la plupart nous n'avons jamais goûté auparavant: topocho (bananes vertes), grenade, chérimole, poire-melon, figue de Barbarie rouge, tamarillo et tomate cerise... ... Here are the fruits that we bought at the market (and most of them, we've never tried before): topocho (green bananas), pomegranate, cherimoya, melon pear, red prickly pear, tree tomato, and cherry tomato...

C & K & O & L: ... Hé! Oh! Qu'est-ce qui est plus important, les fruits ou nous? Prends une photo de nous, aussi! C & K & O & L: ... Hey! What's more important for you, the fruits or us? Take a picture of us, also!

O & L: Une petite promenade mouillée dans la fontaine de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. O & L: A short but wet walk in the fountain in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

O: De tous les fruits précédents, mon préféré, c'est bien la figue rouge, parce qu'elle teint trop ma bouche (et autour). O: My vote for the best fruit that we tried in Tenerife? The red prickly pear or higo rojo, as they call it here. Dye!

K: On habille les arbres, maintenant? K: Do we need to dress the trees now?

O & L: Dans notre troisième et dernier appart à Tenerife, il y avait une cabane dans un arbre de la cour. O & L: In our third and last Airbnb place in Tenerife, there was a splendid treehouse in the yard.

K & R & O & L: Il y a beaucoup de cactus sur l'ile et il faut toujours faire attention où on met nos mains et où on s'asseoit. K & R & O & L: There are a lot of cacti on this island, so you need to be careful where you put your hands or where you sit.

K & R & O & L: 270 000 tonnes de sable ont été importés du Sahara en 1973 pour construire cette plage de las Teresitas. K & R & O & L: The sand on the Playa de las Teresitas beach was imported from Sahara in 1973, that's why it's not black.

K & O & L: Après une semaine à Orléans, nous avons retrouvé maman et papa à Digoin, dans un restaurant appellé Chez Lily... K & O & L: After a week in Orleans, we found Mommy and Daddy at Digoin, in a restaurant called Chez Lily...

K & O & L: ... Où la table de Suzanne et André est en fait une vieille Citroën DS. K & O & L: ... Where Suzanne and André's table is actually an old Citroën DS car.

Notre Logan MCV vient de passer 200 000 km. Encore autant et on peut s'en débarasser. Peut-être. Our Dacia just crossed 200,000 km. This much more and we can get rid of it, maybe.
