O: Aimez-vous mon nouveau couvre-chef très chic, biologique? Oui, oui, c'est une courge. Notez également le trophée que je tiens dans ma main. Collectivement, ma classe est la plus rapide dans tout Voiron. O: It's fun to be a part of my class. Fastest runners, we collectively won the trophy that I'm holding proudly. It's also fun to be a part of our family, since where else can I wear a headgear made of a vegetable? I guess you can call me pumpkinhead from now on.

L: Donnez-moi des ciseaux et quelques feuilles colorées et je me transforme en artiste créatif! L: Gimme some scissors and a couple of colored pages and I'll show you what a great artist I am.

K & O & L: Le Mikulás hongrois est encore venu cette année avec ses traditionnels chocolats et livres pour chacun. Nous, aussi, nous lui avons apporté un collage et des gâteaux faits maison. K & O & L: The Hungarian Mikulás came again this year with his traditional chocolats and books. We brought him a collage and some homemade cookies.

C & K & R & O & L: La plus belle photo de décembre pour notre calendrier de l'année prochaine. C & K & R & O & L: The nicest December picture for next year's calendar.

K & R: Est-ce que vous saviez que cette année, nous sommes deux à participer aux entrainements kung-fu? K & R: Did you know that there are two of us this year going to kung-fu training?

L: Je suis un peu caché derrière mes cadeaux faits à l'école: un Papa Noël en papier, des bonhommes de pain d'épices, un sapin décoré et une couronne rouge-blanche-verte. L: I'm a little bit hidden behind all the gifts made at school: a paper Santa, gingerbread men, a decorated Christmas tree and a red, white, and green wreath.

K & O & L: Après avoir fait nos courses, nous nous sommes aperçus que le supermarché était déjà décoré pour Noël. Peut-être qu'il est temps de le faire à la maison, aussi? K & O & L: After buying some food at the supermarket, we noticed that it's already decorated for the Christmas season. Maybe we should decorate our place, too?

K & O & L: Encore une fois, les commerces de la ville ont organisé des sculptures sur glace... K & O & L: As each early December, the merchants of our town organised a live ice-sculpting event...

O: ... Et si vous vous demandez quelle sculpture était la meilleure, le lion a laissé une bonne impression. Celui a droite, pas celui à gauche! Roah! O: ... And in case you're wondering which sculpture was the best, the lion sure did leave a good impression. The one on the right, not the one on the left! Roar!

O: J'ai préparé des gâteaux sans gluten pour vendre au marché de Noël et un Papa Noël en origami très mignon pour attirer plus de gens. O: I made some gluten-free cookies to sell at the Christmas market and a cute origami Santa to attract more people to our stand.

L: J'adore faire le sapin de Noël rempli de crème de marron aux ateliers d'anglais de maman. L: I love making the chestnut-cream-filled Christmas tree at Mommy's English class.

K & O & L: Le thème du stage Abrakadabra ce mois-ci était Les sports d'hiver. En anglais, bien sûr... K & O & L: The theme of this month's Abrakadabra camp was Winter Sports. In English, of course...

K & O & L: ... Alors nous voici à la patinoire de Grenoble... K & O & L: ... So here we are, at the ice-skating rink in Grenoble.

K & L: Papa Noël et sa femme (ou plutôt sa fille) sont aussi venus à la patinoire. Et il y avait même du barbe-à-papa gratuit pour les enfants, donc ça explique pourquoi Orlando n'est pas sur la photo. K & L: Santa Claus got fed up with Mrs. Claus and he found himself a young lass to help him carry the presents at the ice-skating rink. There was also free cotton candy nearby, so that explains why Orlando is not on the picture.

K & T: Pousse, Orlando, pousse! O: Je pousse, je pousse, mais Thomas et toi et sept chaises, c'est quand même lourd. K & T: Push, Orlando, push! O: I'm pushing, but with Thomas and you and seven chairs, it's kind of hard.

O: Nous avons décoré notre maison, et nous avons aussi trouvé les gants et les bonnets d'hiver cachés dans une valise, après des mois de recherche. Enfin! O: After months of looking for them, we finally found our winter gloves, hats, and scarves, and also Daddy's beloved Jack Jeckel mask! Just in time for Christmas!

K & L: Nous sommes toujours au stage Abrakadabra et nous allons faire un tour de calèche avec Papa Noël. K & L: We're still with the Abrakadabra kids, and we're going to go for a ride on Santa Claus's horse-drawn carriage.

C & R: Cette année, toutes sortes de personnages de films ont déambulé dans le centre de la ville et nous avons réussi à faire une photo avec Mickey et Minnie. C & R: This year, various cartoon characters walked around the city streets, and we managed to take a picture with Mickey and Minnie.

K & O & L: Nous voici à Orléans, où nous allons passer Noël avec mamie, papy et tonton. K & O & L: We'll spend Christmas in Orleans with our grandparents and our uncle.

K & O & L: Les cadeaux, les cadeaux, les cadeaux! Nous n'avons pas bien dormi la nuit dernière, en fait, nous nous sommes tous réveillés vers 4 heures. Mais c'est finalement le matin et nous pouvons découvrir nos cadeaux. K & O & L: Presents, presents, presents! We woke up at 4 o'clock to see our presents, but Daddy chased us back to bed. Come morning, we finally got to open them.

K: Joyeux Noël, mamie! Je t'offre ce traineau que j'ai originellement fait pour ma classe d'anglais. Nous l'avons rempli de produits de notre région. K: I'm giving my grandma this sleigh filled with goodies. I made the sleigh and the santa and his reindeer for my English class. Hey, where did the origami reindeer go?

K & O & L: Pour Noël, nous avons mangé chez mamie Ginette, notre arrière grand-mère... K & O & L: We spent the Christmas Day lunch with our great-grandmother Ginette...

K & O & L: ... Pour dépenses les calories que nous avons mangé, nous nous promenons à Marcilly-en-Gault. Nous avons vu des choses: quelques chevaux affamés... K & O & L: ... We went for a walk in Marcilly-en-Gault to get rid of some of the many calories we ate. We saw many things: some hungry horses...

K & O & L: ... La cabane de quelqu'un! Hé, qui est-qui se cache derrière nous? ... K & O & L: ... Someone's cabin! Hey, who's there behind us? ...

K & O: ... Une magnifique maison solognotte magnifiquement décorée. Et ainsi se fini notre tour de Marcilly. K & O: ... A magnificent Sologne-type house magnificently decorated. And thus finishes our stroll in Marcilly.

K & O & L: Une promenade au bord de la Loire avant d'aller au cinéma voir le dernier Disney: Vaiana... K & O & L: A short walk near the Loire river before we go to the cinema see the last Disney movie: Moana...

K & O & (L): ... Et vu que nous sommes à Orléans, pourquoi ne pas jeter un coup d'oeil aux décorations de la ville. K & O & (L): ... And since we're in Orléans, why not take a look at the decorations of the city.

O: Oh, non! Mon frère s'est transformé en bonhomme d'épices! Il était déjà adorable avant, alors maintenant? O: A gingerbread Ludwig? He was already sweet before, but now that's just too much sweetness!

O & L: Il y a même une montagne russe (ou laponne?) de Papa Noël en centre ville. Quelles émotions fortes! O & L: And if you're looking for some intense emotions, look no further than this Christmas rollercoaster in Orléans.

R & K & O & L: Cette fois-ci, c'est une promenade tardive au bord du Loiret, et non pas la Loire! R & K & O & L: This time, it's an afternoon stroll near the Loiret river (not the same as the Loire).

C & K & O & L: Pas loin de chez mamie et papy, nous avons assisté à un spectacle du vidéo mapping (projection d'une animation sur un bâtiment, en adaptant les images aux détails architecturaux). Vous pouvez voir des extraits ici. C & K & O & L: Not far from our grandparents' place, we watched a short projection mapping show. The building's windows and walls are used to enhance the animation video. You can see some parts of the show here.

O: Juste avant qu'on part à Voiron, il a gelé à La Source. Et juste après qu'on soit parti, il a même neigé et tout était couvert en blanc. O: Well, that's just our luck! The day we left for Voiron, it started freezing and snowing in La Source. Check out the frozen trees behind us!

C & O: En route, nous nous sommes arrêtés chez notre cousine Léna, qui attendait impatiemment l'arrivée de sa soeur Méline. C & O: On the way back, we stopped at our cousin Léna's house, who was waiting impatiently the arrival of her baby sister Méline.

K & O & L: Nous sommes rentrés et nous sommes heureux à constater que Papa Noël n'a pas oublié de passer chez nous. K & O & L: We're home and happy to see that Santa Claus did not forget to leave us presents under our Christmas tree.

O: Si je mets ensemble les Domino Express Star Wars, Skull Island et Ultra Power, voici ce que j'obtiens. Et j'ai failli convaincre papa à nous acheter 1000 dominos en plus! O: If I put together the Star Wars Domino Express and the Skull Island Domino Express and the Ultra Power Domino Express, this is what I get. To think that I almost managed to persuade Daddy to buy us a 1000 more dominoes!

C & K & R & O & L: Nous fêtons le Réveillon chez nous, tous les cinq. Les apéros sont servis, les papillotes anglaises dans nos mains, prêts à éclater! C & K & R & O & L: We're celebrating New Year's Eve at home. The hors d'oeuvres are on the table, the Christmas crackers in our hands, ready to pop!
