K & R & O & L: C'est officiellement le début des vacances! Nous partons vers l'est et nous nous sommes arrêtés au Lac de Garde pour nous baigner. K & R & O & L: It's officially the start of our vacation! We're on our way east and stopped at Lago de Garda for a swim.

C & R: Nous sommes arrivés à notre première destination: Biograd na moru et ses plages bondées. C & R: We arrived to our first destination: Biograd na moru and its crowded beaches.

Ce petit cricket et sa famille font un vacarme inimaginable quand il fait chaud. This little cricket and its family chirp very loudly when it's hot.

Ces feux d'artifice étaient impressionants, parce qu'une tempête s'est levée vers la fin et le vent soufflaient toutes les étincelles vers nous. We love fireworks and this one was impressive, because Mother Nature decided to add a notch to it and blew all the sparks our way.

C: Vransko jezero est le plus grand lac de la Croatie, presque trois fois plus grand que le lac de Paladru. Il comprend une réserve ornithologique abritant une grande variété d'espèces... C: Vransko jezero is the largest lake in Croatia, almost three times as big as the Paladru lake. It is a designated nature park full of biodiversity...

K & O & L: ... Le lac de Vrana vu d'en haut, sur les roches karstiques où nous avons mangé notre pique-nique. K & O & L: ... The Vrana lake seen from above, from the karstic rocks where we ate our picnic.

C & R & O: Šibenik est ville jumelée de Voiron! Vu que nous n'étions pas loin, il a fallu faire le petit detour... C & R & O: Šibenik is Voiron's twin town! Since we weren't very far, we had to come and visit it, of course...

O & L: ... Et nous ne l'avons pas regretté, parce qu'à la plage Banj, il y avait un super aire de jeux gonflable. O & L: ... And we did not regret it. Because look what we found on its Banj beach: a floating playground!

K & R & O & L: Vous voyez le fort St. Michel en haut? Rapprochons-nous un peu... K & R & O & L: Do you see St. Michael's Fortress on the top? Let's go closer to it...

C & K & O & L: ... Vous voyez l'aire de jeux gonflable? Nous sommes montés de si loin, à pied! C & K & O & L: ... Do you see the floating playground? We walked up here from all the way down there!

O: Ce cricket énorme s'est faufilé dans un tiroir. Je ne sais pas comment, mais je vais le sortir dans la nature, où il appartient. O: This huge cricket was chirping in a drawer. How it got there, we have no idea, but it belongs outside, not inside.

C & K & O: Loin derrière nous, vous pouvez voir Šibenik, mais aujourd'hui, notre destination est différente... C & K & O: In the distance, we can see Šibenik from here, but today, we have a different destination...

... Ceci est le parc national Krka, plus précisément la partie Skradinski buk... ... This is the Krka National Park, more precisely the Skradinski buk part...

C & K & O & L: ... Un impressionnant complexe de cascades parcouru par un sentier artificiel de 3,2 km de long... C & K & O & L: ... An impressive complex of waterfalls and cascades traversed by a 3,2 km long man-made footpath...

C & K & R & O & L: ... Et voici une belle photo de famille devant la plus grande cascade... C & K & R & O & L: ... And here is a great family picture in front of the biggest waterfall...

... Si les vents vous emportent dans cette direction, n'hésitez pas à visiter le parc national Krka, cela vaut le detour malgré le prix d'entrée onéreux. ... If the currents carry you that way, the Krka National Park is definitely a tourist destination to visit, despite the slightly expensive entrance fee.

C: Derrière moi, l'île Visovac. Est-ce que vous pouvez la trouver sur la photo suivante? ... C: Behind me is the Visovac island. See if you can find it on the next picture! ...

... Au point de vue Rogovo, vous pouvez voir loin et vous pouvez voir du près. ... At the Rogovo viewpoint, you can see far and you can see close.

L: Papa et Orlando me lancent façon cirque (un en haut, deux en bas, trois LANCER!) et je monte jusqu'au ciel... L: Daddy and Orlando are launching me the circus way (1 high, 2 low, 3 GO!) and suddenly, I fly to the sky...

R & O & L: ... Puis tout le monde saute dans l'eau. R & O & L: ... Then all of us take a nice refreshing swim.

La fin de la journée à Roški Slap, toujours au parc national Krka, avec plein d'autres petites cascades et sentiers de randonnée. The late afternoon was spent at Roški Slap, still at the Krka National Park, with many more small cascades and hiking trails.

C & K & O & L: Ca vous dit d'aller faire un tour sur le ferry-boat? On découvrira Tkon sur l'île la plus proche de Biograd na moru... C & K & O & L: How about we take a trip on a ferry? Let's check out Tkon on the closest island to Biograd na moru...

C: ... Nous préférons les coins calmes aux plages surpeuplées. L: Comme ça, c'est nous qui faisons le plus de bruit! C: ... We much more prefer the calm to the crowded tourist beaches. L: That way, we can be the ones making the noise!

C: Nous sommes à Novi Sad et nous achetons des fleurs à Nagymami et Nagytati. C: We're in Novi Sad, buying flowers at the Liman market for Nagymami and Nagytati.

K & R & O & L: Nous mangeons des ćevaps, des pommes de terre, de la salade et de la soupe aux petits pois et à la menthe avec Nagymami, Nagytati et Diana. K & R & O & L: We're eating ćevapčići, potaotes, salad, and mint pea soup with Nagymami, Nagytati, and Diana.

L: Diana me fait des tresses. Quelle patience! ... L: Diana is braiding my hair and she has a lot of patience to do it! ...

L: ... Vous voyez le résultat? K: Oui, c'est bon, maintenant c'est mon tour. L: ... You see the result? K: Yes, okay, but now it's my turn.

K & O: Le Danube bleu est la même nuance du bleu comme chaque année : marron! K & O: The blue Danube is the same shade of blue as every year: brown!

C & K & R & O & L: On s'amuse avec les amis au Štrand de Novi Sad... C & K & R & O & L: Having fun with friends at the Novi Sad Štrand...

R: ... Une photo avec deux Kláris et une Tatjana. R: ... A picture with two Kláris and one Tatjana.

R & O: Nagymami a gagné cette partie de Rummikub, mais un de nous gagnera la prochaine. R & O: Nagymami won this game of Rummikub, but one of us will win the next one.

K & O: Nous avons passé quelques débuts de nuit avec les filles Kingdon et leurs puzzles. Celui-ci était facile, mais l'Elvis rose était impossible à finir. K & O: We spent a few late evening with the Kingdon girls and their jigsaw puzzles. This one was easy, but the pink Elvis one was impossible to complete.

C & K & R & L: Devinez quel film nous sommes allés voir au cinéma? Alors, vous donnez vos langues au chat? C & K & R & L: Guess which movie we went to see at the cinema? You can't guess? Realy?

R: Au cimitière à Lok avec Nagytati et Kató nena. R: At the cemetery in Lok with Nagytati and Kató nena.

O & L: Nous faisont un quart d'heure sur nos vélos pour jouer au ping-pong. Très sportifs, non? O & L: We take our bikes, ride them for 15 minutes, then spend a half an hour playing table tennis.

C & K & R & O & L: Petroland est toujours une valeur sûre; avec toutes les piscines et aires de jeux, nous n'avons presque pas le temps de nous sécher. Babi nena est venue avec nous, aussi. C & K & R & O & L: Petroland is always great time assured; with all the water rides and relaxing pools, it's impossible to be dry for long. Babi nena came with us, also!

C: Une belle pose nocturne devant le pont sur le Danube. C: A night pose on the Strand with the bridge behind me.

C & K & R & O & L: Nous avons vu János et sa famille, mais aussi Gyuszi un soir au restaurant de la plage. C & K & R & O & L: We saw János and his family, but also Gyuszi one night at the beach restaurant.

O & L: C'est un peu trop stereotype, mais les mâles veillent sur le feu pour le roštilj... O & L: Kind of stereotypical, but the males are in charge of the fire for the roštilj...

C: ... Pendant que les femelles sont plus à l'aise à mettre la table et à faire des gâteaux. C: ... While the females are more at ease with setting the table and baking cakes.

On dit au revoir au Danube et à Novi Sad, mais les vacances ne sont pas finis! We say goodbye to the Danube and to Novi Sad, but the vacation is not over yet!

K & O & L: Nous voici en Hongrie, à Esztergom, avec Teréz, l'enseignante française avec qui Maman travaillait comme assistante il y a bien longtemps, avant nous! C: Merci, Teri, pour ton accueil chaleureux! K & O & L: We're in Hungary, in Esztergom, with Teréz, a French teacher. Mommy was her assistant a long, long time ago, before us! C: Thank you, Teri, for your warm welcome!

K & O & L: Il n'y a peut-être pas de mer en Hongrie, mais en tout cas, il y a des vagues! ... K & O & L: There might not be a sea in Hungary, but there sure are some waves! ...

C & K & R & O & L: ... Les bains d'Esztergom sont à la fois excitants et relaxants, à la fois fatigants et revigorants. C & K & R & O & L: ... The Esztergom baths are both exciting and relaxing, both tiring and reinvigorating.

C & K & R & O & L: Nous n'avons pas vu Adrienn et Attila depuis des années, et ceci était une belle occasion pour échanger avec eux. C & K & R & O & L: We haven't seen Adrienn and Attila in many years, and this was a great opportunity to catch up with them a bit.

K: Ma nouvelle vie commence bientôt à l'université de Constance, en Allemagne. C & R & O & L: Franchement, tu as bien choisi ton université. Nous te souhaitons tout le bonheur du monde! K: My new life will soon begin at the university of Konstanz, in Germany. C & R & O & L: We wish you the very best! You chose your university well.

C & K & O & L: Il y a tellement d'activités à faire à la plage de Konstanz. O: Et qu'est-ce que c'est, un OVNI? Non, c'est un zeppelin qui navigue au-dessus du lac Bodensee. C & K & O & L: There are many activities to do at the beach of Konstanz. O: And what is that, a UFO? Nah, it's a zeppelin that cruises above the Bodensee lake.

L: Ma collection de minéraux vient de s'agrandir avec toutes ces pierres précieuses que maman a trouvé. L: My rock collection just got a bit bigger, with all these lovely stones Mommy found.

K & R & O & L: Encore une fois, maman a trouvé une très belle maison sur HomeExchange... K & R & O & L: Mommy once again found a great house for us on HomeExchange...

C: ... Et, comme un bonus, on avait à s'occuper d'un chat. C: ... And as a bonus, the house came with a cat!

C & K & O: Est-ce que tous les arbres sont si géants dans la région? Ou est-ce que c'est nous qui sommes petits dans ce monde? C & K & O: Are all the trees in the area this huge? Or are we just really small in this world?

O & L: C'est vraiment cool de voir des alpacas de si près. O & L: This is really cool, to see alpacas roaming in the field.

K & O & L: Cette partie de l'aire de jeux à la forme d'un nid de cigognes. K & O & L: This part of the playground is shaped like a stork nest.

Toutes sortes de créatures dans le lac de Constance. All kinds of creatures in the lake Constance.

L: Kylie-Anne n'est pas la seule à aimer les chevaux. Moi, j'aime celui-ci en bois! L: Kylie-Anne is not the only one that likes horses. I like this wooden one!

C & K & O & L: Dehors, il pleut, mais heureusement que nous avons trouvé où nous réfugier: d'abord dans une bibliothèque... C & K & O & L: It's raining outside, but fortunately we found where to hide: first in a library...

C: ... Et après, dans un centre commercial... C: ... And then, in a shopping center...

K & O & L: ... Un centre commercial très bien décoré, notre foi! K & O & L: ... A very well decorated shopping center, we must say!

K & R & O & L: Nous avons subi la pluie pour faire une photo avec une des attractions de Constance, la statue Imperia. K & R & O & L: We braved the rain to take a picture of one of Constance's landmarks, the Imperia statue.

C'est l'heure de dire adieu au pays des cigognes et de retourner chez nous. And that's it! We say goodbye to the land of storks and we are homebound.

L: De retour en France veut dire de retour à Abrakadabra, et de retour à Abrakadabra veut dire des activités fun comme l'accrobranche. L: Back in France means back in Abrakadabra, and back in Abrakadabra means fun activities like tree climbing.
