L & K & R & O: Le repas le plus important de l'année est le premier petit déjeuner. L & K & R & O: There's nothing better than starting the year with a good hearty breakfast!

C: Tout le monde s'est mis à faire le puzzle de 500 pièces, et avec l'aide des petits, nous l'avons fini en une soirée. C: Everybody pitched in for putting together the nighttime Novi Sad puzzle, and we finished it in one evening. We never could have done it without the kids.

L & K & R & O: Ce n'est pas très comfortable, mais au moins on a battu le record avec quatre enfants dans ce bain. La prochaine fois, il faut y aller à cinq. L & K & R & O: Yes, there is room in the bath for four kids. Maybe even more, we'll try it one day.

L & K & R & O: Après le bain, Devaki est en train de nous lire l'histoire du soir. Et après l'histoire, c'est l'heure d'aller au lit et dormir... L & K & R & O: After the bath, Devaki is reading us a bedtime story, and after that, it's time to sleep...

O: ... Pffff, dormir! Quelle drôle d'idée! Je préfère lire encore un peu, moi. O: ... Sleep? Yeah, right! Maybe the others are tired, but not me! I'm going to stay up another hour reading in the bathroom.

Bloqué! En montant à St. Pierre de Chartreuse, la neige est tombée et la voiture n'avançait plus. On devrait vraiment investir dans des pneus neiges. We're stuck! On our way up to St Pierre de Chartreuse, we got snowed in. We really need to put snow tires on our car.

L & K & R & O (quatre enfants perdus dans la neige) : Qu'est-ce qu'on fait? On va où? On peut faire de la luge, au moins? L & K & R & O (four kids that are lost in the snow) : What do we do? Where do we go? Can we sledge, at least?

K & O: On mange la gallette avec Julio et Daniela (et leur petit bébé qui va arriver cette année) et Anne. K & O: We're eating a gallette with Daniela and Julio (and their baby that will be born this year) and Anne.

I: Elle est rigolotte, notre amie Kylie-Anne. Elle n'a même pas remarqué que nous sommes arrivées. L: Je peux lui pincer les fesses, maman? I: Our friend Kylie-Anne is really tired. She didn't even notice that we came. L: Can I pinch her butt, mommy? Can I, please?

O: Maman, il y a trop de neige! Et elle est trop froide! Et mes gants sont tombés! Et j'ai froid! Mais NON, je ne veux pas entrer, pourquoi tu me le demandes? O: Mommy, why did the snow stop falling? Why? OH, WHY? I wanted it to be higher than me!

K: C'est trop cool! Il y a assez de neige pour qu'on puisse aller à l'école avec la luge. Tire plus vite, papa! K: There's enough snow to go home from school with the sledge. It's just so cool! Pull faster, Daddy!

K & O: On est très heureux de vous présenter cette nouvelle pièce de théâtre: La fée et le poussin. K & O: We felt like rummaging through the closet where all the disguises are hidden. Why not?

K & O: Oh-oh! Papa s'est coincé dans le Tunnel de la PEUR! Il faut l'aider! ... K & O: Oh, no! Daddy's stuck in the Tunnel of Fear! We need to help him! ...

K: ... Tiens fort, papa! Tire, Orlando, tire fort! ... K: ... Hold on, Daddy! We'll save you! Pull, Orlando, pull! ...

K & O: ... Ouf! T'as réussi, papa, t'as traversé le Tunnel de la PEUR! ... K & O: ... Phew! You made it through the Tunnel of Fear, Daddy! ...

C & K & O: ... Tout le monde a réussi de traverser le Tunnel de la PEUR! Nous sommes très courageux. C & K & O: ... Everyone of us made it through the Tunnel of Fear! Now we are that much braver.

K: Merci maman! T'as vu l'ange de neige que j'ai fait? K: Thank you, Mommy! I made a snow angel, can you see it?

O: Il y a cinq semaines à peu près, nous vous avons montré la grenouille chauve. K: Maintenant, elle a des poiles! Pas beaucoup, mais bon, c'est la première fois qu'on le fait. K: Hey, do you guys remember the bald chia pet that we showed you last month? Well, it's hair grew a little bit. O: Not enough! It should be this long!

O: Ca y est, maman, je suis prêt pour faire de la randonnée dans la neige. On y va? O: I'm ready to go trekking in the snow, Mommy! Are you?

O: Mesdames et messieurs, vous assistez à la finale de la compétition de luge. Un, deux, ... Mais ce n'est pas possible, Céline et Kylie-Anne trichent encore. Eh, je n'ai pas dit "trois"! O: And they're off, ladies and gentlemen! On your left, China, represented by their best female sledders, Juliette and Eva, and on your right, the French team, Céline and Kylie-Anne. Who will win the race?

K & O: Le ciel bleu, le soleil qui brille, pas de nuages. Mais où elle est partie, toute cette neige? K & O: One day, all the snow was just gone. Daddy says that Santa Claus took it with him, but we're not sure if we should believe him.

K & R & O: AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Il y a un pied derrière papa. Et non, ce n'est même pas de la manipulation de l'image. K & R & O: Whose foot is this? WHOSE FOOT IS THIS? AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

K: Nous jouons à Dixit avec Juliette et Craig. C'est un jeu très intéressant. K: We're playing Dixit with Juliette and Craig, and it really is a fun game.

O: J'adore ma tapette à mouches. Ca fait CRACK! quand je tape la table. O: Check out my flyswatter! It works even when there are no flies around.

K: Eva est très gentille et elle me prête ses skis pour que je les essaye. J'aime bien faire du ski, aujourd'hui. O: Et moi, est-ce que je peux essayer? O: What are you girls doing? K: Eva is letting me use her skis. Today, I love skiing!

O: Tu peux m'acheter une motoneige comme celle-là, maman? O: Oh, I know what Santa should bring me next Christmas!

K & O: Une cow-girl et un cow-boy devant le magasin Joly Marion à Lans en Vercors. K & O: Don't these bronze horses look real?

C: J'ai décidé d'aller à Madrid pendant quelques jours pour voir les nouveaux livres espagnols. Mais la famille va me manquer beaucoup. C: I'm going to Madrid to find new Spanish books, but I just realized how I will miss everybody, even if it's only for two days.

K & O: Pourquoi faire un circuit de train dans notre chambre quand nous pouvons faire une longue route dans tout le couloir? K & O: Watch out, there's a hall in the road. No, we mean a road in the hall.

O: Et voilà, un skieur né! Papa, tire-moi, je n'arrive pas à glisser. O: Finally, I get to try out the skis. I think I'm still too small for skiing, but at least I look cool with skis on.

O: Tu peux m'acheter une dameuse comme celle-là, maman? O: Oh, I know what Santa should bring me next Christmas!

O: Tu avais raison, papa, c'est mieux sur ton épaule que dans tes mains. J'ai un peu peur, mais je sais que tu me tiens bien. O: Actually, I love skiing! But only when Daddy carries me. And if I'm on his shoulders, it's all the more exhilarating.

K: La robe de droite est ma robe de mariée dans une vingtaine d'années, et celle à gauche est pour maman. K: A glimpse of the future? I would like the one on the right to be my wedding dress, and Mommy wants the one on the left for her.
