K: Il a fait très beau ce mois-ci; du coup nous avons joué souvent dehors. K: The weather was really nice this month, so we spent a lot of time playing outside.

O: Le menu aujourd'hui, pâtes à la carbonara. Comment ça, l'écumoir est sale et collant? Pas du tout! O: On the menu today, pasta alla carbonara. Carbonara in my plate, carbonara on my head.

K & O: Les cloches ont caché plein de chocolats dans le jardin. Sous cet arbre, nous avons trouvé une douzaine... K & O: The Easter Bunny hid lots and lots of chocolate eggs in the garden. Why, only under this tree, we found about a dozen small eggs.

K & O: ... Et sur cet arbre, il y en a un autre. Qui sait comment ce lapin au chocolat est arrivé tout en haut? O: There's another one in the tree! Daddy, please pick me up so I can reach it! K: I'll help you, too, Daddy! How did the Easter Bunny carry this one all the way up there?

K: Ca, c'est une vraie photo de printemps. Plein de pissenlits et de marguerites, l'herbe verte, et une petite fille en robe bleue qui ramasse des fleurs pour sa maman. K: The fresh grass and the yellow and white flowers smell delicious. Spring is definitely one of my favorite seasons.

K: Bon, Yanis et moi jouons les timides, mais c'est parce que nous sommes des amoureux. K: Yanis came over to play at our place. I'll tell you a secret, but don't tell anyone: we're in love!

K: Les cloches sont arrivés à l'école, aussi. On est en train de faire à la queue leuleu pour reçevoir les chocolats que nous avons trouvé dans la cour. K: The Easter Bunny hid some chocolats in the school, as well. Here's my class, waiting patiently for the chocolate eggs we found in the schoolyard.

K: La photo du mois avec ma meilleure copine, Eva. K: I'm not sure which one of us found more chocolate eggs, but both Eva and I ate lots and lots of them.

K: T'as vu que cette tour qu'on a fait ensemble est très haute? O: Et elle est aussi extravagante! O: Wow, this tower we made together is really tall! K: And cool-looking, don't forget that!

Joyeux anniversaire, Maïlys! T'as des très jolis gâteaux. Happy birthday, Maïlys! What nice cakes you have!

K: C'est la piñata pour l'anniversaire de Maïlys... K: This is Maïlys' birthday piñata...

M: ... Ma piñata était rempli de sans-gênes! O: Et de bonbons! K: Et de bonbons et de sans-gênes! M: ... My piñata was full of party blowouts! O: And candies! K: And candies and party blowouts!

C: Et alors, si je dors comme ça? C'est une position très comfortable pour moi. C: What do you care if I sleep like this? The important thing is that I'm confortable.

K & O: Nous apprécions avec Daniela et Julio le parfum de fleurs de cerisier. K & O: Daniela and Julio enjoy the smell of cherry flowers at our place.

K & O: C'est l'atelier potager avec maman. Nous avons des graines de tomates, de radis, de fraises, et même d'une mangue. K & O: It's time to sow some seeds with Mommy. What do we have today? Tomatoes, radishes, strawberries, and even a mango.

K & O: La tente est de retour sur notre balcon. Bientôt, on pourra faire la sieste ou même dormir toute la nuit dehors. K & O: Mommy, can we sleep in the tent tonight? No? How about just for an afternoon nap?

K: Une autre copine d'école m'a rendu visite. C'est Noémie. K: It's Noémie, another girlfriend from school, who came to play at my place.

K & O: Eh, papa, pourquoi nous n'avons pas de sable chez nous, comme Inès? K & O: Hey, Daddy, how come we don't have sand in our yard, like Inès?

K & O: Deux jolies fleurs entourées par d'autres jolies fleurs. K & O: Two beautiful flowers surrounded by other beautiful flowers.

K & O: Pssst! C'est une véritable séance cinéma à la maison, popcorn inclu. K & O: Shhhh! It's movie night! We even have the popcorn that goes with it.

K & O: Le jardin de mamie Ginette a besoin de beaucoup d'eau, et nous sommes la pour l'arroser. K & O: The garden of our great-grandmother needs lots of watering, fortunately we're here to help.

K: Est-ce que je peux vous prendre en photo, papa? K: Can I take a picture of all of you, Daddy?

C: Il y a toujours plein de fleurs dans le jardin de mamie Ginette. C: There's always lots of flowers in my grandma's garden.

C & K: C'est un poisson d'avril! En chocolat! Miam, miam! C & K: Mmmmm, can we have some of this delicious chocolate fish filled with chocolate animals and candy?

K & O: Voici un autre jeu très rigolo du dernier (ou avant-dernier?) siècle: chamboul'tout! En tout cas, on s'amuse bien. K & O: Grandpa Marc brought out some old tin cans and several sock balls and we had a great afternoon knocking down the cans.

K: J'apprends à faire du vélo sans les roulettes. Ce n'est pas facile, mais au moins je ne suis pas tombée. K: I'm learning to ride the bike without the small wheels. It's not easy, but at least I didn't hit anything.

K & O: On fait la course jusqu'à tonton Stéphane, mamie? K & O: Let's have a race until uncle Stéphane's place, Grandma!

K & O: Les dix canetons sur la rivière Ill de Strasbourg n'ont vraiment pas peur de touristes. K & O: At the Ill river in Strasbourg, ten little ducks were swimming all day, over the river and far away. Momma duck said "quack, quack, quack, quack" and all ten ducks came swimming back.

K: Avant d'entrer le quartier de la Petite France, le bateau-omnibus monte plusieurs mètres grâce à un système de deux barrages. K: We're looking at how the dams and the water lift up the tourist boat. You can see Mommy, Orlando, Grandma and Grandpa on the other side.

K & O: Nous avons mangé plusieurs spécialités alsaciennes avec mamie et papy lors de notre séjour à Strasbourg. K & O: We ate many scrumptious Alsatian specialties, like flammekueche, Sauerkraut and roesti.

K & O: Voici le bateau-omnibus qu'on a pris pour faire le tour de la ville. Même si vous ne nous voyez pas, nous y sommes tous sauf papa. K & O: We're in the boat that takes you around the city center. Daddy stayed home to rest, but then came in time to take this picture.

K & O: Même après une longue journée, nous ne sommes pas fatigués et nous pouvons marcher jusqu'au tram qui nous amène à nos chambres d'hôtes. K & O: Even after a long day, we're not tired and we can walk until the tramway that will take us to our bed and breakfast.

C & K & O: Il faut économiser l'eau de notre planète, donc on prend tous les trois une seule douche. C & K & O: We need to save our planet's water, so there's three of us taking a shower together.

K: Ouf, je n'en peux vraiment plus, papa! Quand t'as dit que nous allions monter jusqu'en haut de la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg, j'ai pensé qu'il y aurait un ascenseur. K: So we need to go up to 66 metres, roughly 5 steps per meter, 330 steps total and we're only at 190? I think I need a rest.

K & O: Nous sommes à la première plate-forme de la cathédrale, à 66 mètres d'altitude. K & O: Is there an elevator that will take us down from the top of the cathedral or do we have to suffer even more?

O: Comme l'année dernière, nous avons loués des vélos et visité le parc de l'Orangerie, pour y voir des cigognes et d'autres animaux... O: We went to the Orangerie park last year, but it's always lovely to see this many storks around us. You can see some in their nests behind us...

O: ... Et nous avons trouvé des tortues cette-fois ci! Maman, on peut les attraper? O: ... And we found some turtles this time, too! Can we catch one, Mommy?

K & O: Nos voisins, Solène et Florian, ont acheté un petit animal domestique... K & O: Our neighbors Solène and Florian have a new pet...

... Elle s'appele Lilly et c'est un hamster nain. ... Her name is Lilly and she's a tiny hamster.

K & O: Papa a encore gagné au loto il y a deux semaines, 4 numéros + 1 étoilé, pour une somme de 175,70 euros. Donc, nous avons investi une petite partie de la somme dans des casques, pour un futur plus sûr. K & O: A couple of weeks ago, Daddy won again on the lottery, 175,70€ this time. So we invested a small part of the sum into helmets, for a safer future.
