O: Helena arrive bientôt, et Daniela et Julio sont ravis. Nous, les enfants, nous sommes ravis qu'on peut ouvrir tous ces cadeaux pendant le Chá de Bebê. O: Daniela and Julio invited us to the baby shower for Helena, who is coming real soon. And all the kids helped with opening their presents.

O: Tu penses que la tour de Pise tombera un jour, Kylie-Anne? K: Non, tant qu'il y a des touristes comme nous qui le tiennent en place tout le temps. K: Hold it, Daddy, hold the Leaning Tower of Pisa! Steady now! O: No, Kylie-Anne, go away, let it go and let's see it fall!

K & O: Nous voici à Rome avec notre cousine Diana, en train de nous éclater sur les balançoires. K & O: We are at our cousin Diana's in Rome, and we're having tons of fun at the playground.

C: Une pose sexy à la plage. Dommage qu'il ne fait pas 20 ou 25 degrées en plus. C: A sexy pose at the beach. If only it was a little, no, a lot warmer.

R & K & O & D: L'équipe de sauvetage est à leur place, messieurs-dames. Un problème quelconque et on arrive immédiatement! R & K & O & D: Would you leave your life in the hands of a rescue team like this one? Why wouldn't you?

D & K: Une pièce jeté dans la fontaine de Trevi apporte bonheur, mais alors deux pièces! D & K: A coin thrown in the Fontana di Trevi brings luck, but two coins bring double luck.

D & K: C'est incroyable ce qu'il peuvent faire ces jeunes danseurs. D & K: These guys (and one girl) dancing in the street are really nimble and cool.

O: Je vais t'aider à repasser, maman, ça va aller plus vite. Tu sais qu'après il faut que vous me coupiez les cheveux, aussi. Et on ne peut pas être en retard pour le grand jour! O: Quick, Mommy! We have to iron our clothes and cut my hair and then get ready for Diana's big day!

C'est la première communion de Diana. It's time for Diana's first communion.

K: Tu crois qu'on aurait dû demander plus que juste un bonbon pour le sourire sur cette photo? O: Non, mieux vaut ne pas être trop glouton! O: I think we could have asked for more than just one candy to smile on this picture. K: I think you're right, but it's too late now. Next time.

D: Non, je ne crois pas que tout de suite après la première communion je deviens Sainte Diana. Pourquoi? D: No, I don't think after the first communion I become Saint Diana right away. Why?

D: Oui, j'avais la robe la plus jolie aujourd'hui. D: Yes, I did have the most beautiful dress today.

O: Papa était en train de raser mes cheveux derrière mon oreille, mais j'ai bougé et bzzzzz... Et après, il a dû dessiner d'autres lignes de deux côtés de ma tête. Une coupe tribale. O: So here's a funny story: Daddy wanted to cut the hair behind my ear, but all of the sudden I moved, and bzzzzz... And then he had to draw in some other lines on both sides of my head. A tribal haircut.

K: Dès fois, je me contente de regarder les autres jouer et cela me rend heureuse. K: Sometimes, Daddy takes pictures without telling me, and most of the time those pictures come out very nice.

K & O: Une photo avec tous les enfants présents à la fête après la première communion... K & O: A picture with all the kids at the party after the first communion...

K & O: ... Et une autre photo avec notre famille. (Et Giada, mais elle n'est pas complétement sur la photo.) K & O: ... And a picture with our family. (And Giada, but she's not in the picture all the way.)

K & O: Nous avons besoin d'un baby-foot chez nous, aussi. Est-ce qu'il n'y a pas des anniversaires qui s'approchent? K & O: We definitely need a foosball at our house, too. Aren't there some birthdays coming up soon?

K: Donc, Diana est une princesse, et le Vatican est son château. C'est bien ça la religion? K: So, Diana is a princess, and the Vatican is her palace. Is that how religion works?

K & O: Wow, on regarde comment un grand bâteau est apporté au port par un camion et mis dans l'eau par une sorte d'ascenseur. K & O: Wow, we're looking at how a big boat is brought to the harbor by a truck, and then lowered in the water by some sort of an elevator.

K & O: On s'est arrêté pour manger vers Turin avant la dernière étape pour rentrer chez nous, et ce manège était devant le restaurant. Très pratique! K & O: We're enjoying this merry-go-round near Torino, where we stopped to eat and to forget our credit card (it was later sent back to us by the restaurant).

C: Allez, Kylie-Anne, essaie les pâtes au pavot, c'est délicieux. K: Non, je n'ai pas envie de brosser mes dents. C: Mais nous avons besoin d'une photo pour le livre de recettes de ton école. C: Come on, Kylie-Anne, try the poppyseed pasta, it's delicious! K: No, I don't feel like brushing my teeth! C: But we need a picture for the recipe book at your school.

K & O: Vous pensez qu'on est loin de chez nous? Eh, non, vous vous trompez, on n'est même pas à 10 minutes à pied d'où on habite. K & O: You'd think this picture was taken far from our place, but actually, it's not even 10 minutes walking from where we live.

C: On est à la mer, on est à la mer! ... C: We are at the seaside, we are at the seaside! ...

C & R: Un couple amoureux à La Ciotat. C & R: A couple in love at La Ciotat.

R: ... En train de se baigner, en train de se baigner! R: ... Swimming and relaxing, swimming and relaxing!

K & O: Il y a plein de bêtises qu'on peut faire aux jeux à la plage de Charavines. K & O: Here are some of the many silly things we can do at the beach in Charavines.

K & O: Mamie Paulette et papy Marc nous rendent visite pendant les deux anniversaires. K & O: Grandma Paulette and Grandpa Marc came to visit us during the two birthdays.

K & O: On joue à Bonjour, Robert, un jeu de cartes très rigolo. K & O: We're playing Bonjour, Robert, a funny card game.

K: Ca y est, mon anniversaire est arrivé! J'ai cinq ans maintenant. K: It's here! It arrived! It's my birthday! I'm five years old.

K: Essayons tout de suite ces cadeaux, les rollers et toute la protection qui va avec... K: Let's try right away these gifts, the inline skates and all the protection which is needed...

O: ... Oui, très bien, essayons-les, ça a l'air fun! O: ... Yes, let's try them, it sure looks like fun!

K & O: Pour son anniversaire, papa a eu un set de jonglage (un diabolo et deux assiettes sur bâtons). Toute la famille s'éclate bien avec ce jeu. K & O: For his birthday, Daddy got a juggling set that the entire family can play with. One diabolo, two plates on sticks, and the afternoon is called for.

K: Je suis en train de peindre une maison de poupées. O: Et moi, un carton. K: I'm painting a dollhouse. O: I'm not, I'm painting a box.

C: Les années 70 reviennent à la mode. Faites l'amour, pas la guerre! C: The hippie movement is making its comeback. Peace, man ... and woman!

K: Vous connaissez ce jeu? On marche avec une cuillère dans la bouche et une balle sur la cuillère. Attention à ne pas faire tomber la balle! K: Do you know this game? You need to carry a spoon in your mouth and a ball on the spoon while you're walking. Careful, the ball shouldn't fall!

Joyeux anniversaire, joyeux anniversaire, joyeux anniversaire, Kylie-Anne, joyeux anniversaire! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Kylie-Anne, happy birthday to you!

K: Les cadeaux, c'est pour les invités, aussi. Mais seulement s'ils réussissent à l'attraper avec la canne à pêche. K: Presents are for the guests, also. But only if they succeed in fishing them off of the carpet.

K & O: Sanna nous a lu un livre en arabe et nous avons appris quelques couleurs dans une autre langue. K & O: Sanna read us a story in Arabic and we learned a few colors in yet another language.

K & R: Deux anniversaires ce mois-ci, mais pourquoi le 23? Kylie-Anne a 5 ans et Papa a 35 ans. Cela fait 40, et 40 - 17 = 23. :) K & R: Two birthdays this month, but why the 23 on the cake? 35 for Daddy, 5 for Kylie-Anne. 35 / 5 = 7, and 161 / 7 = 23. :)
