K & O: Un nouveau radar a été installé pas loin de chez nous et papa peut le déclencher en courant sur la route. Son record est 23 km/h, ou 16 km/h en portant un de nous. K & O: They installed a radar not far from our place and Daddy can trigger it by running on the road. His record is 23 km/h, or 16 km/h carrying a child.

K & O: Pendant une promenade avec Maïlys et ses parents, nous avons vu un magnifique cheval blanc. K & O: While walking with Maïlys and her parents, we saw a beautiful white horse grazing in the field.

K & M & O: Nous sommes allées à une vente à la ferme pour acheter des légumes frais... K & M & O: We went to a nearby farm to buy healthy and homemade products...

K & M & O: ... Après, nous sommes restés bouches bées devant la traite des chèvres. K & M & O: ... We also saw how they milk the goats. Quite fascinating.

K & O: Mmmm, ces gâteaux que nous avons fait avec maman sont délicieux, même avant de passer par le four. K & O: Mmmm, these cookies we made with Mommy are delicious, even before we put them in the oven.

K & O: Le château que nous avons fait avec papa est gracieux et fragile. K & O: It might not be very stable, but this castle we made with Daddy sure is gracious.

K & O: Lorsqu'on se promène dans la fôret, nous faisons très attention à ne pas nous perdre. K & O: When our parents take us hiking, we make sure that we don't lose them or each other.

K & O: Pas loin de St Joseph de Rivière, il y a un plan d'eau avec quelques étangs. Un endroit idéal pour faire le pique-nique en famille... K & O: There are a few small lakes not far from St Joseph de Rivière. It's the perfect place to picnic...

K & O: ... C'est aussi l'endroit idéal pour donner à manger aux canards. K & O: ... The ducks also think it's the perfect place to picnic.

K: Et la bataille contre les poux est gagnée, finalement! Bon, il faut quand même dire que moi, je n'étais pas trop génée par les petites bêtes. Mais elles énervaient maman pas mal. K: And the battle against the lice is finally won! It took us a while, but we've beat them... until the next time.

Pour l'inauguration de la saison 2010/2011 du Grand Angle, nous avons assisté au Cabaret perché, présenté par la Cie La Fabrique des Petites Utopies. For the inauguration of this year's season of the Grand Angle, we watched a peculiar sort-of-a-circus show.

K: Nous avons emprunté cet excellent jeu de la ludothèque. On peut dessiner tout avec ces petits clous. K: We borrowed this great game from the toy library. You can draw anything with these pegs.

K: C'est papa et moi en train d'arriver au bout du toboggan... K: It's Daddy and I flying into the pool after a great slide...

K & O: ... On adore la piscine Aqualib. Le toboggan est "trop bien", on met des gilets flottants pour pouvoir nager tous seuls... K & O: ... We love the Aqualib pool. The water is warm, the slide is too cool, there are life vests that make us float...

C & K: ... Sans oublier le jacuzzi chaud. C & K: ... Not to mention the warm jacuzzi.

K & O: Après tout ce sport, il faut reprendre quelques calories perdus. Voici notre visite annuelle à la restauration rapide. Le repas est délicieux... K & O: After all that sport, we need to gain back some lost calories. This is our yearly visit to a fast food restaurant. The food is tasty...

K & O: ... Mais l'aire de jeux, c'est mieux. Malheureusement, toutes ces calories gagnées disparaissent en quelques minutes de jeu. K & O: ... But the playground is much better. I guess all those calories we gained will just go away again.

O: Moi aussi, j'aime bien ce jeu de petits clous. Et aussi la partie laçage avec différentes silhouettes, comme ce bateau. O: I like to play with this game, as well. Look at the boat I laced to the pegboard!

K: A St Geoire en Valdaine, vous pouvez visiter la biscuiterie Louvat toute l'année. Dégustation offerte! Voici une machine qu'ils ont utilisé dans le dernier siècle pour mélanger le sucre. K: In St Geoire en Valdaine, you can visit the Louvat biscuit factory all throughout the year. Free tasting! This is a machine they used in the last century to mix the sugar.

O: L'atelier écriture a commencé. Je commence à reconnaître la plupart de lettres et j'arrive presque à écrire mon prénom... O: I'm starting to recognize the letters and I can almost write my name all by myself...

K: ... Et moi, je commence à écrire mon livre d'histoires. K: ... And I'm at the point of writing my own books with my own stories.

K & O: Ne nous embête pas maintenant, papa, c'est la meilleure partie de l'histoire! K & O: Don't bother us now, Daddy, it's the best part of the story!

K & O: L'association des parents d'élèves a organisé une fête pour Halloween à notre école, avec jeux, déguisements et... ET... K & O: There was a Haloween party at our school with games and costumes and... AND...

K & O: ... ET BONBONS! O: Tu me donnes un bonbon, Kylie-Anne? K: Oui, mais ne mange pas les bleus... K & O: ... AND CANDY! O: Can I have a candy, Kylie-Anne? K: Sure thing, just don't take the blue ones...

K: ... Sinon, ta langue deviendra bleue comme la mienne! K: ... Otherwise, your tongue will become as blue as mine!

K & O: On ne sait pas pourquoi, mais chez Maïlys, on devient très vite très excités! Peut-être c'est l'effet de tous ses jouets. K & O: We don't know why, but whenever we visit Maïlys at her place, we become very excited very fast! Perhaps it's all the toys she has.

K & O: Quel chance! Anaïs, Eloise, Marjolaine et Cédric étaient dans le parc quand nous sommes arrivés. Consequence? Les autres enfants ne pouvaient pas approcher le tourniquet pendant une demi-heure. K & O: What a great coincidence! We found Anaïs, Eloise, Marjolaine, and Cédric at the park, and so we hogged the carousel for at least half an hour.

R: Le montant exact ne se voit pas, mais c'est bien six chiffres. Et le pire, c'est que je dois m'en séparer... R: You cannot see the exact amount, suffice to say it's six digits. And the worst thing is, I have to say goodbye to it...

C: ... Mais c'est pour une bonne cause! Nous avons finalement acheté notre premier appartement. C: ... But it's for a good cause! We finally purchased our first apartment.

K: Papa espérait ne pas avoir un bobo de l'année cette année, mais après il a fait basculer la remorque du vélo avec deux enfants dedans. Bilan? Egratignures sur mon front, genoux, coude et fesses! Thomas est même allé à l'hôpital pour avoir deux points de suture sur son front. K: Boy, oh, boy! Daddy was kind of hoping that we will avoid the boo-boo of the year this year, but then he really kicked it up a notch. He made Thomas and me fall out of the jogger! Scratches on my head, knees, elbow and butt, and Thomas needed two stitches on his front.

K & O: Farce ou friandise, mamie! Est-ce que tu as des bonbons pour nous avant le dîner? Oui? K & O: Trick or treat, grandma! Do you have some candy for us before we eat dinner?

K: Oh, papy, il est cool, ce vélo, mais peut-être un peu trop grand pour moi. K: Oh, grandpa, this bike is really cool, but it's a bit too big for me.

K: Papa a dit que je n'avais pas besoin de masque de Halloween cette année, vu comment mon front a enflé. C'est très méchant, ça! K: Daddy said I didn't need a Halloween mask this year, since my face was really swollen because of the fall a few days ago. Daddy, Daddy, you'll have to be more careful with our little sister next year.
