O & L: Nous avons nos casques, nos mousquetons et nos baudriers; nous sommes prêts pour le parcours aventure... O & L: We have our helmets, our carabiners, and our harnesses; we're ready for adventure...

O: ... En garde, papa! Je vais te battre, parce que j'ai déjà fait l'initiation à l'escrime à l'école cet année. O: ... En garde, Daddy! I will most certainly beat you, because I've already done some fencing at school this year.

R & K & O & L: Pour nos anniversaires, maman nous a offert une sortie au safari de Peaugres, le plus grand parc animalier de Rhône Alpes... R & K & O & L: For our birthdays, Mommy bought us tickets for the Peaugres safari, our region's largest animal park...

K & O & L: Qui est-ce qui a conçu ce tapis génial? Ca bouge, ça glisse, ça remue, ça fait rigoler. K & O & L: Who designs these great playground games? We can jump, slide, wiggle, and laugh on this carpet.

K & O & L: ... Le parc est divisé en deux parties: le parcours en voiture où en découvre les animaux de 4 continents en semi-liberté et un zoo qu'on visite à pied ... K & O & L: ... The park is divided into two parts, a safari where the animals roam in semi-liberty and we drive slowly next to them by car and a zoo where we walk around to observe them...

L: Oui, d'accord, c'est peut-être une sorte de pont de singe, mais cela ne veut pas dire que je suis un singe! L: Do not forget that balance is very important in your life (and also when you walk on a bridge).

K & O & L: ... Cette année, la nouveauté du parc, c'est Les souterrains du manoir, une immersion dans la nuit et la pénombre... K & O & L: ... This year, the newest exhibition is The Underground Manor, where we can discover the animals of the night and of the twilight...

K & O & L: Raaaaaah! Ne venez pas plus près, nous avons appris une ou deux choses de ces lions! K & O & L: Aaaaargh! Do not approach us, we learned a trick or two from the lions!

K & O & L: ... Nous avons vu des lions, des otaries, des oryx, des tamarins, des loups à crinière, des grenouilles vénimeuses, des maras et plein d'autres animaux. Le safari de Peaugres est un endroit merveilleux! K & O & L: ... We saw lemurs, red river hogs, penguins, snakes, ostriches, tigers, capybaras, giraffes, bats, white rhinos, vultures, and a lot of other animals. The Peaugres safari is a wonderful place!

L: Oh, non, j'ai la varicelle! Enfin, comme avec ma soeur et mon frère, ça dure trois jours et après ça passe. L: Oh, no, I've got the chicken pox! But as with my siblings, it lasts two or three days, and then I'll be done with it.

K & O & L: Finalement, le temps est assez chaud pour pouvoir aller au lac de Paladru. Mi-juin cette année, quand même. K & O & L: Finally, it's hot enough to go to the Paladru lake. Mid-june this year, hmmm...

L: Alors, qu'est-ce que je peux bien faire avec cette tour Kapla? Je sais! L: Let's see, what can I do with this Kapla tower? I know!

L: Papa est en train d'acheter un nouveau téléphone portable pour maman, mais moi, j'aimerais bien avoir une tablette. Non, je ne suis pas trop jeune! L: Daddy is buying a new mobile phone for Mommy, but I wouldn't mind getting a tablet for myself. No, I'm not too young!

K & L: Nous fêtons l'anniversaire d'Orlando avec mamie Paulette et papy Marc. O: Waouh! Regardez ce feu d'artifice sur mon gâteau! Excellent! K & L: We're celebrating Orlando's birthday with grandma Paulette and grandpa Marc. O: Wow! Look at the size of that firework fountain!

O: C'est mon anniversaire et j'ai invité les copains suivants: Léane, Chloé, Lino, Marjolaine, Elisa, Cédric, Swann et Axel. On s'amuse bien! O: It's my birthday and I invited the following friends: Léane, Chloé, Lino, Marjolaine, Elisa, Cédric, Swann, and Axel. We're having a lot of fun!

C: J'ai passé quelques jours sans les enfants et sans mon mari. Nous sommes sur la plage de Mourillon à Toulon avec Anne. C: I took a few days off from my kids and my husband. We're at a beach in Toulon with Anne.

A: La plage de Mourillon fait rêver. A: The sea is always blue in Toulon.

O: Pendant que maman n'est pas là, nous nous déguisons et nous allons au McDo avec papa. L: J'ai un peu peur de mon frère, je dois l'avouer. O: In the meantime, while Mommy's not here, we're putting makeup on, going to McDonalds, and enjoying our time with Daddy! L: You scare me a little bit, tiger Orlando.

C: Aaaaah, que l'eau est bonne! Vous devriez venir à la plage de Mourillon, les enfants... C: Oh, it's such a joy to be in the sea! You should come to the beach, kids...

K & O: ... On ira le mois prochain. Pour l'instant, nous chantons à la kermesse: Stewball, Jeanne, Santiano, Champs-Élysées, etc. K & O: ... We'll go next month. For now, we're at the end-of-the-school party and we're singing a few songs for the parents.

O & L: Ca ne serait pas une kermesse sans la pêche aux canards. O & L: It wouldn't be a school fair without duck fishing.

L: Qu'est-ce que c'est, une bouteille de bière? Voyons voir! Ah, non, papa a mis de l'eau dedans. L: What's this now? A bottle of beer? Let me try it! Nope, it's not beer, someone filled up the bottle with water.

K & O & L: C'est le premier jour de l'été et la fête de la musique! On se promène dans les rues de Voiron jusqu'à très tard... K & O & L: It's the first day of the summer and we're roaming in the streets of Voiron and listening to concerts until late ...

O: ... Et à la fin de la soirée, je fais un tour de manège. Tout seul, parce que ma soeur est désormais trop grande pour les manèges, et mon petit frère dort dans la poussette. O: ... And at the end of the night, I'm on the merry-go-round by myself, since my sister thinks she's too big for it and my brother is already sleeping in the stroller.

C: Je suis de retour et je me mets au travail tout de suite. La cabane a besoin d'un peu de vernis. C: I came back and I see that the cabin needs some varnishing.

Nous sommes à Longechenal chez Gilbert avec l'association France-Hongrie Dauphiné. Un goulache délicieux et la musique folklorique et nous nous sentons comme si nous étions en Hongrie. We're in Longechenal with the French-Hungarian association, eating a delicious goulash and listening to some great folklore music and songs.

K: Nous avons également visité une ferme d'autruches... K: With the Hungarians, we also visited an ostrich farm...

... Oui, exactement, une ferme d'autruches! Pourquoi, il y a quelque chose qui ne va pas? ... Yeah, an ostrich farm! You got a problem with that?

L: J'ai peut-être dormi l'autre jour, mais aujourd'hui, je suis bien réveillé et je peux faire le manège! L: I might have slept last time, but today, I'm wide awake and I'm enjoying the merry-go-round.

Cette année au Festival des cultures du monde, nous avons vu des groupes folkloriques de l'Espagne, de la Géorgie, de l'Italie, du Tahiti et de l'Équateur... At this year's Festival of World Cultures the five participating folk groups came from Spain, Georgia, Italy, Tahiti, and Ecuador...

L: ... Et pour le flash mob (qui commence à être une tradition ici), le groupe tahitien nous a enseigné quelques mouvements. L: ... And for the flash mob (which is starting to be a tradition here), the Tahitian group taught us some of their moves.
